I bought this Gotham cookware set based upon my needs for the included pots/pans, durability, useful life %26 size. So far no complaints regarding the manufactured quality; however I am disappointed with the overall sizes of the set. In comparison to other similar sized cookware I have owned and/or utilized, the actual capacity of Gotham's pieces seems lacking. Quality aside, this set is reminiscent of starter cookware, with an inflated price point. That aside, no complaints regarding use or durability.

While I absolutely love the Gotham Steel line of products, when I opened the box set I received today 02-09-2026, the square pan handle did not match the other pan handles. I was disappointed that a brand new set, did not match…while I’m sure the quality is fine, I display my pans on a hanging rack in my kitchen and was not expecting them to have different handles.

Brand New Boxed Set but Handles Don’t Match.

None of the pots and only two of the skillets worn on induction cookers. Tested on three different induction cookers with same results. Not enough ferromagnetic material on bottoms. (See picture below). The one on the left works fine. They are very nice otherwise and I will use them on butane or propane cooker

Disappointed

I like them they are very beautiful! The only issue I had with them is they are smaller than expected. I have a family of 6 and the biggest pot and pan won’t hold enough for all 6 people’s food.

I am very disappointed in this set. spending almost $100 on this set, and these were on sale for $90, I expected a lot better quality. The pans definitely have promise in their color, variety, and utility. However, directly from opening these pans they feel very manufactured and somewhat cheap. Most of the pots had chipping on the outside paint. two or three of the glass lids had audible glass rolling around in the edges. I could also see the glass shards in one of the lids. I'm very displeased, and I will be returning these no matter the hassle. I was hoping for a long-term pot and I can tell that without serious care and attention these simply will not do. if you're looking for quality pots and pans set that feels nice in your hands, comes with little to no blemishes, look elsewhere. If I knew that this was the case, I would have spent the $30 more to get a better brand.

Simply Disappointed

purchased 4 months ago and seemed promising at first BUT they have not held up well. I really took care of them too, only hand washed, didn't use anything abrasive to clean them.... everything sticks to them now. World absolutely not recommend!

non stick didn't last

Do not buy these pans, they work well at first but after a while you will notice that even after hand washing really well they stink, It was gross! I washed around the rivets in the handles both inside and outside and still stinks. I wash my pans  by hand right after they cool down after using them.  Smells like food gets stuck in the rivets where the handles are  and you can soak them use baking soda everything and the stink does not go away!  You shouldn't have to wash a pan over and over again to try and get the smell out, this smell doe not go away even after soaking in hot soapy water or even baking soda. A real pan washes up and thats it. This makes me very upset as people don't have the money to spend only to be turned down for refund. This makes me think there is something wrong with the rivets for handles are not tight and hold food or there is something wrong with the non-stick lining and it harbors bacteria. DO NOT BUY THESE!  I bought these just this past April and was not refunded. It has not even been 6 months and no refund. 
I am turning this into Federal Trade Commission, BBB, Health Department and other consumer groups. This could make people very sick!  I have to now go and find real pans without rivets that you can actually clean and they don't stink. This isn't the only brand that this happened to, so do your homework!

DO NOT BUY THESE PANS!

This set had manufacturing defects (sharp gouges) in the 5 qt pan. I contacted the manufacturer and instead of sending me just the pan they wanted me to return everything to Walmart; what an inconvenience as we were traveling in our rv. I told them that if I had to return all 12 pieces I would buy another brand and they would loose a customer for life. They were okay with that. Warranty is useless. Definitely do not recommend.

Worthless warranty

Upon opening and inspecting the set, (2) frying pans and (2) pots were damaged. Even the ceramic coating on the set weren’t applied evenly because I could see waves or ripples on the finish. The gauge of the aluminum is also very thin; my daughter’s playtime cookware set is constructed better than this. Even at the sale price, not worth buying as the overall quality of this cookware set is very poor.

Avoid and not worth it

The quality is very poor! Would never recommend!!!!!! Made a grilled cheese sandwich and now I can’t get the pan clean I’ve scrubbed and it’s not coming off!!!! Ridiculous!!!!!
