I had read recently that food cooked in cast iron can be harmful to men.  Not so much for women due to the iron women need.  This pan is wonderful, you never have to use oil or butter, cleans perfectly and looks great in our kitchen.  Shipped quickly A

Great pan the surface is excellent for cooking without oils does great fried sandwiched. A bit small for full meal cooking. Overall very satisfied I will get a larger version.

I'm tired of Teflon so I bought the 10" Gotham Steel 10" Nonstick Frying Pan.  I have only used it once for bacon and eggs.  It did what Gotham said it would do and it was easy to clean.  There are some negative reviews and a lot of positive reviews that start with "[This review was collected as part of a promotion."  Those I have discarded, but more positive reviews than negative.  Maybe the negative reviews failed to read the instructions that came with the pan?  I don't know.  I'll be back here after I have used the pan quite a bit more.

not sure why others are having a bad experience, nothing sticks to this pan. food like eggs are literally sliding off but maybe it'll change over time but i sure do love it for now

So Far, So Good

Way easier to clean after searing a steak on med high. Theres gotta be a pan that keeps its nonstick forever while being nontoxic. Still searching. grapeseed oil is supposed to be near the top of the list of oils for non stick with carbon steel pans. im thinking i should get some soon!

for the price ease of cleaning is worth it enough

Loved it for the first 3 or 4 times I used it then it went downhill from there. No longer non-stick. Attached photo is after about 1 month of nearly daily use.

Cheap and now I know why.

Do not buy it. It is not worthy for the cost.  I had used all the proper utensils to cook food (rubber and wooden spatula).  I had cleaned it with sponge pad after cooking. The products only last 6 month max then food started stick to the pan. The pan shows no sign of any scratches, but food stuck.

Worst pan ever used in my 50 years of cooking.
