[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lid doesn't fit quite right. We're thinking maybe once we put it on a few times when the pan is hot it may correct itself. The surface is more like cast iron but maybe not even as smooth. Its textured but cleans really easily.

Also it is lighter weight than it looks so not like lifting an iron skillet for sure.  I hope it will last a long time.  I love the copper color and the hammered appearance.

Use it almost everyday to cook!

Then my daughter suggested I try Walmart. I thought she was just joking but I went online at Walmart and there they were and at an affordable price. Thanks Walmart.

It's new and so I've only used it once and that was to fry apples... something that usually makes a browned on mess.  The apples browned without leaving a mess in the pan.   I always wash non-stick pans by hand and this washed up easily.  The heat distribution was good. 

The lid was delivered with a crimped edge and I had already destroyed the packing material when I noticed it, but I was able to smooth it out reasonably with a pair of pliers and a folded paper towel to protect the finish.

Extra large pan to cook up delightful meals

So many of the excellent reviews here were from people who were part of a promotion.  So here's the real scoop from someone who paid full price:
The problem with this pan is the face that while the handle stays cool, the helper handle does not.  I almost burned myself when I used it, as I'm in the habit of holding both sides of the pan, and sometimes need to carry it to the oven to finish a dish.  I'll be returning it and buying something else.
