I've had Mikasa items for decades. However, the latest items I have ordered are sub par in quality. The china has had black flecks in the clay that are obvious, in china cups and bowls I've ordered on separate occasions. The quality of the china and outside applications are sub par for the price. Quality control at shipping is sub par if they let these flawed items go out. I will say their returns are accommodating. Mikasa is not the same, sadly. Less for more.
