avoid at all cost! all of the new strip lights they are making have a major flaw when they are cut off they do not fully cut off! the power supply or driver still passes voltage even with the power off. 
This is especially a problem on the under car LED kit if it is installed on a newer car, as the parasitic drain will damage or negativity affect the ECU of the automobile! 
I have saved all messages where I have tried to resolve this through Govee customer service with no luck... AVOID UNTIL THEY FIX THESE ISSUES!!!

I purchased the Govee 32.8 ft LED light strips on Feb 5th 2020. I hung the lights up on the wall along the ceiling. It was not an easy task because I am 62yoa and placed them behind my entertainment center which I moved to place them. Within 6 months one of the light strips started to display in sections different colors than I had selected. Out of 16ft strips a couple sections of 5 or six lights would display a totally different color.  It would only do it on certain colors So I was forced to display colors and scenes that were not affected. I contacted Govee since my product was still under warranty they sent me a new box of lights. I replaced the strip that was bad. Not an easy task. Now once again both 16ft sections are once again displaying bad sections of the lights displaying different colors than what selected. I contacted Govee and was advised my lights are out of warranty and they would not replace them but offered $15. I spent $36 on the lights. I would not buy Govee products as it is obvious, they do not last over time and the company will only hide behind the warranty. These are the only Govee lights I have, the rest are Phillip Hue bulbs, playbars, strips ect. I have l have never had a problem with any of the Phillip Hue. I learned the hard way you get what you pay for. The Govee lights did not last six months, then once replaced, are bad again 1 month 12 days past warranty. Its such a hassle because of the placement of the lights. DO NOT PURCHACE GOVEE LIGHTS THE DO NOT LAST.

Purchased, Replaced 6 months later, out again.
