Built a home entertainment wall unit. Painted white, primer and top coat went on perfectly. Little less at first with overspray but with correct nozzle and distance was perfect.

Easy to use, great for the DIY on projects.

gracoconv.com

Bought based on reviews, and it does perform as expected, probably better.

works very well

The features are great, the weight isn't too bad, (maybe I need to build up the arms a bit).
It would be nice to have a spray gun that could be used for touch ups and had a really precise control.

First time, portable sprayer

Hi, i am very pleased with the results of my sprayer but wish the cleanout was quicker!

I have two of these units. The corded version and the cordless. Not the Ultra MAX. They are a great unit but I suspect that they need to be used constantly. I'm not a contractor, but I like good tools so that's why I have them both and typically only buy the best.

The unit I use the most is the corded one since I usually am within extension cord range of what I'm doing. I had the pump fail after about 4 uses and about 10 months. Graco support was generous enough to replace the pump. But apparently they can't handle setting around too long before they become non operable. I clean them quite thoroughly and load them up with the pump armor but this doesn't seem to help. After setting too long it appears that they quite easily let air seep in and become unusable. The first pump died and wouldn't spray at all even upside down. It would just not build enough pressure to spray at all. I suspected it was the outlet check valve but they have this thing priced so high that its not worth taking a chance to buy if it doesn't work.

Now the second one is acting up and I've replaced the cup and cup lid as well as the o-ring around the pump where the cup lid goes on. And again I'm now looking at having to buy yet another pump. So I guess I'm going to have to wait until Graco gets its act together and make this great gun a little better for those who don't use it every day.

Great Start, but needs follow up.

Tha unit I received was used, and I have not been able to get it to prime. About the only thing I've been able to do is clean and clean and clean again. When I pulled the prong above the filter off, it had dried black paint that I've not been able to remove. The cup won't seal. I have used the lube as directed, bought new cups just in case with no improvement. I tried tightening it a litter lighter and got paint everywhere. It works if I hold it upside down, so I know it's not clogged. I read the manual, watched vids online - I'm doing what everyone says I should. I wasted 4 hours today trying to get this, and tomorrow i will be finishing my project with a flawless Fuji Fuji Q4Pro that has never let me down.

Bought new, got used and non-working

This is my second unit to fail after about 5 uses. It is great while it's working. I am meticulous about cleaning my tools after use.

Doesn't last

I would give zero stars if I had that option!!! Avoid buying this product. It is terrible. It looses it's prime all the time and will not spray. I got one day's use out of it and the second day messed with it for 2 hours before the motor burned out. What a piece of crap. Poor design....do the engineers that build this stuff ever actually try working with it at all? AVOID PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT
