Overall Experience

This is my first paint sprayer, I've always done things the brush and roller way. The only thing that I can say is, wow what a difference? The Magnum sprayer is an amazing machine, the was well thought out. It's very simple to use and a snap to clean up...they pretty much thought of everything. From the simplicity of the priming, to the ease of flushing the paint and stain from the hose and sprayer, it's very easy and a joy to operate. Thanks for making a quality product.

Quality and ease of use.

gracoconv.com

I bought the Graco Magnum Painter Plus to stain/seal approx 260 linear feet (on both sides) of (shadow box-good neighbor style) 6 ft high cedar fence. I bought 20gal of Ready Seal #512 Natural Cedar for the job. I also purchased an additional #311 spray tip for the stain/seal and an additional 20 inch wand. My brother in law also used the sprayer on his elevated deck. He said the 20 inch wand was very helpful. We both had excellent results. For my fence, I purchased a TYVEK suit, respirator and goggles for overspray issues, I'm glad I did. The Magnum Airless Sprayers Operational and Troubleshooting Videos located on your Homeowner Support Education Center were helpful and very well done with excellent safety issues noted. I saw the same videos on youtube and with some of the negative comments that were made, I had to question whether that person(s) should even be allowed to purchase or operate any type of pressurized equipment.

Magnum Airless Sprayer - 5 stars *****

I have only used this unit one time to prime my new garage interior.Other than the rigidity of the supply line I found that the equipment worked better than I had expected, I contribute my lack of experience with the unit contributed to much of my concerns with the rigidity of the supply line.
Now, having used this unit I'm sure it will be less of a chore as I am anxious to complete this project, as well as planning many more in the future . GREAT PRODUCT

Quality and functionality

We were replacing the siding on the East side of our garage and needed to paint the siding before installing it. I had intended to buy a Graco spray painter for a task I never got to, so now was the time to buy. The sprayer came in excellent condition and was more than easy to assemble. It worked flawlessly and was easy to clean.

Graco Sprayer Purchase

My daughter and I painted her 1000 square foot basement ( poured cement walls and unfinished ceiling)
She did the majority of the spraying 10-12 hours, 21 gallons of paint ( 2 sections). Lots or overspray from the ceiling - but that's a lot of paint. Directions say no clean up (except nozzle) for up to 2 days. Next day I sprayed away😊. Clean up after that is a bit laborious. But that's a lot of paint. Happy we purchased this pump.

Graco

Works perfectly. Much faster than a roller or brush. Takes a couple times to get the sequence of priming down, but it's not hard. Cleanup with a hose connection is easy. We wasted a lot of paint on the first time we primed, just because we didn't trust ourselves, but later got way more efficient. I suggest starting with a little thinner paint, though this thing will certainly spray thick stuff. My wife loves using this thing. Definitely do good prep, cause it can blow your tape off the wall especially if you get too close. Always wear a mask, and cover yourself head to toe. Block off your area and be sure your heat and air are off, or everything will be covered in paint dust.
Excellent machine, wish we would have bought it 40 years ago...

Excellent machine made it tolerable

I bought a week ago, works great! My only complaints are that I wish the instructions had more steps to safe paint and that it was easier to clean the paint out. I wish there was more dedicated spots in the sprayer for spray tips, suction strainer and power wash attachment.

Great sprayer

I just used my paint sprayer yesterday and saved myself a ton of time. I sprayed my fence and it looks amazing. The instructions were easy to follow. I would recommend this sprayer to friends and family.

Great product

I just used my sprayer for the first time yesterday. I sprayed primer on an exterior of an addition I built on our house. I worked fine. It would have been nice to get a wrench for the spray tip housing and maybe some brushes to aid in cleanup. I see that as an over site on Graco's part. The power flush valve worked fine but a brush would have helped.

Sprays great first time out. Cleaning tools neede

Sprayer is easy to use but the gun is not good quality constantly clogging. I installed a different gun with the same head and tip and finish the job with no problems.

Good product bad gun

I'm totally dismayed by the Graco Magnum painter . I watched you tube videos before purchasing the device . But unlike the countless claims of how easy it is to use by all sexes . This Magnum sprayer won't spay evenly no matter the pressure level . It's been an utter disaster for me . I actually purchased paint rollers and painted the old fashion way . Thanks a lot Graco . For Nothing .
