Home Use

This was a lifesaver for a fence staining job that we started with just a tobacco sprayer and roller! Had about 4200 sq ft to do and calling for rain for the following week and needed to get finished so it could dry. Went and got this sprayer and GAME CHANGER! What would've taken 5-6 days the way we were doing it could've been done in less than 3 days, possibly 2. Easy to understand how to operate and much better coverage and application of stain. I'm not good enough with it to paint a house, but I can see with practice, a person can easily recoup whatever they pay for it within the first job.

GAME CHANGER

gracoconv.com

This was my first attempt to paint with my Graco since the purchase. The instructions were pretty clear and easy to follow. I did however encounter a small problem. The waste that occurred while priming seemed excessive. I painted 4 steel garage door and they turned out great

Fast and Easy

Purchased to apply multiple coats of house paint (40 gallons) on some 1600 sq ft of cedar fence. Anticipating 40-year life span of fence. Unit easy to use, pressure dial-in for fan spray very easy. Lost prime once, regained in less than 30 seconds. Still using 515 tip, purchased 517 tip as back-up. First airless sprayer. Own and have used air sprayers (external and internal mix tips) to paint several vehicles, as well as house shutters. Lots less overspray issues with airless unit. Highly recommend.

Highly Recommend

My first time using an airless paint sprayer was quite satisfying. I have done dozens of manual paint jobs in my near-60 years, so this was an exciting experience. I knew that prepping was going to be the key to a successful project. This was a renovation of a small guest house, so I had to complete two-plus cases of caulk, and put up 6 rolls of tape, plastic and paper sheeting. The prep paid off. I followed the startup guide for my new Magnum X7, and then less than 30 minutes later, I had finished painting the bedroom, the living area, and the dining area. AND… it looks GREAT!! We are already planning our next three projects. :-)

First Timer

We were adding a large addition on our home and had lots of painting and priming to do. The Magnum X7 was a huge time saver. To be fair, you will go through more paint and primer than if you brushed/rolled it all but that is well worth it. The coverage is very consistent and smooth. Once you find the right spray setting, you're off to the races and saving a ton of time! Clean up takes a little time but is extremely easy in an open area with a garden hose. We are so glad we purchased this unit!!! I highly recommend!

This is a great sprayer. Highly recommend!

I bought this a couple weeks ago and have used it a few times painting siding on my house. Going up and down ladders with this hose makes it a breeze. It is easy to clean, easy to use, and can spray extra paint without thinning it down. It has been a dream!

Reliable and easy to use

I've used several different airless sprayers over the years. Borrowed from friends, rentals etc. This is the first airless sprayers I have owned. Worked just as well as any other I have used. Zero problems. My project took about 5 hours to spray out; painting a large barn. No clogs and easy to move around the job site.

Great sprayer for the price.

This airless sprayer works very well and is pretty simple to operate. Cleaning is pretty straightforward and probably as easy as it can get. The frame is completely plastic. Most photos I saw during my research showed a metal handle, but mine is plastic. It seems pretty sturdy and should hold up well. My only concern is that every time I pulled the trigger to spray, a small blob of paint shot out first, kind of off to the side. Once I sprayed over it, it seemed to be okay. Maybe a different tip might not do that. For my purposes as a homeowner/DIY guy I think this is a good value and should last through many projects.

Good Value

There needs to be better instructions on how to set the pressure. I just turned it up until I got a good pattern like the instructions said. I was constantly fighting clogs. Mine also did not come with an English instruction manual. The sprayer worked fine, but the instruction could have been a little better.

Big Learning Curve

The X7 worked well. My suggestion is for first-time, beginner instructions to be simplified step-by-step using action verbs. Supply the instructions on a plasticized board.
The hose fitting at the spray gun should be supplied with a swivel fitting. Because the plastic hose was often unruly, even though I had the 50' extension hose on it and in the hot sun.

X7 pump great, hose unruly

Meh. Doesn't work as advertised. Buy something else.

Buy something else.
