Home Use

This sprayer has saved us SO much time and effort staining our shadow box fence. If anyone has ever had to do that, they know how much crazy work it is to get in-between all the offset boards. This kept the drips to a min (or none at all). You do have to get the right attachments. but FANTASTIC!

FANSTASTIC and save us SO much time!

gracoconv.com

I bought this for painting my garage. It worked so well, saved so much time! The only thing I would change it the directions for use! The purging and clean-up instructions are not well written! Once I figured the instructions out it was easy to use. I would strongly recommend this Sprayer to anyone looking to save time. I was impressed with quality of the spray.

Great machine

I am not a pro painter. Not even close. I haven't used a paint sprayer in years but I bought this to paint an ADU and a home addition. My first use has been doing the interior of a new build (the ADU). So far I've only used it a few hours so this is not a long term review.

Pro:
Easy setup, relatively easy cleaning. Seems to spray consistently and without any issues at all. I used Behr's lower end line without thinning and it worked out well. No issues with operation.

Cons: I purged the system as indicated in the included documentation as well as according to videos online. However I still had quite a lot of pump armor mixing with my paint at first. It took a while to purge it and I wasted some paint doing so. Not a huge deal, but the documentation could be clearer in that regard.

Misc:
Get a flexible end to the hose. It is pretty stiff and I had to spend time unrolling and unkinking it mid-job. Not a graco issue but it would be a big upgrade to include.

Overall, well worth the money. I expect to get a lot of use out of this over the coming years.

Early days but very good so far

We have similar sprayer at work and wanted one for myself, for painting side jobs, so I'm familiar with product and operations. Right out of the box and feed line in 5 gal bucket of paint, i was painting effortlessly. I bought extension wand, longer hose and extra spray gun screen to get my sprayer the extra accessories to help me spay better. Will explore sprayer tips as an option for spray patterns and materials. A+ product

D.I.Y. Airless Sprayer

I'm not a painter but prefer doing my own work. I checked and asked around which airless sprayer are the best. Graco came out on top. Started shopping around for sprayer for personal use and found Magnum X7 to fit my needs. Did my first spray on some metal railing. I was pleasantly surprised how easy and how nice it came out. Should have got one long time ago. Sure beats roller and brush. Thanks Graco.

Graco Magnum X7. Best choice

Incredible! I've used other, similar sprayers but this one sprays like a dream plus with these added bonus features the X7 is outstanding: Power flush, quick flip at the gun to clear a clog in less than 5 seconds, and the trigger lock (I didn't think I'd use the trigger lock but really comes in handy).

Incredible! Sprays like a dream, easy to clean.

I bought this airless sprayer about 6 weeks ago. I hate to paint, but this sprayer made it easy. I used it for the first time yesterday, and stained 150 feet of cedar fence, board on board in one day. Both sides! It was pretty simple to get it ready to spray and once I got a rhythm going it went pretty smooth. I'm a first timer with an airless sprayer, but I would definitely recommend this product.

Easy Peasy

This was a lifesaver for a fence staining job that we started with just a tobacco sprayer and roller! Had about 4200 sq ft to do and calling for rain for the following week and needed to get finished so it could dry. Went and got this sprayer and GAME CHANGER! What would've taken 5-6 days the way we were doing it could've been done in less than 3 days, possibly 2. Easy to understand how to operate and much better coverage and application of stain. I'm not good enough with it to paint a house, but I can see with practice, a person can easily recoup whatever they pay for it within the first job.

GAME CHANGER

I am delighted with the X7 operation after just completing the staining of one side of my house.
I'm a little disappointed while learning the operation on you tube, that older units used to have a chrome metal handle instead of the flimsy plastic tube and also a longer power cord instead of the 1ft length now. The sprayer tubing is extremely stiff and difficult to control when compared to my 3000psi pressure washer tube. I'm surprised there is not more flexible tubing option.

Mostly great

Works great out of the box after setup. Had to remember to adjust my flow,. The reason I bought it was that I tried my friend and was pleased with it, smooth and quick work.

Part time painter

This sprayer left tails, splatter and runs throughout the house. I adjusted the pressure up and down, looking for the sweet spot, but to no avail. I wound up rolling the whole house anyway. The hose is too stiff, often causing an unintentional trigger pull. Clean up was not fun.

Just roll your walls.
