I bought this because I did not want to spend a couple hundred dollars on a Dutch Oven to bake my artisan bread. I ran across another reviewer who said this is why she bought it. So I did and was so glad. The bread turned out wonderful and I have used it several times. Note: use parchment paper to remove bread more easily.

Im baking sourdough in mine! I was tired of baking in cast iron. No more burning myself arms and fingers. Now I use these roasters for my 1000 gm and smaller loaves. The baking time is the same.  Love them - I bought 2 to start. They stack!

PERFECT for a 1 or 2 person meal. A previous one I had purchased was oval and the lid did not fit correctly and it was a disaster! This lid fits wonderfully, good seal. Only thing I would wish is that it had handles, otherwise, as I stated, PERFECT!

Wonderful roaster.

This hard to find roaster is exactly what I've been looking for...I'm replacing one I had like this that got lost in our recent move.  I've used this pan many times and it's perfect for small roasts and other meats..just the right size and very easy to clean up.

Review

great for small meals

Good size pan cooking for 2 or 3 people.  There is a lip around the side of pan to pick up using potholders but would have preferred it to have actual handles.

Gift

The item appears too be big enuff for a large chicken or roast and isn't that big. I will keep it but will have too go purchase a larger one.

Much smaller than expected

There is a cut place about 2 inches on the pan. It appears to be all the way cut into the enamel lip of the pan. The lid is fine. I'm afraid this cut area will eventually rust.

Damaged Pan

Pan was too light. When stirring the food the pan kept sliding off the burner.
No handles to carry the pan off the stove which using pot holder caught fire from other burners being used. Total waste of money.

Not workable disappointed
