Suitable for canning and storing in small containers.

I haven't used it yet, but I have had a larger version for years which has held up very well. This smaller size will be perfect for the pint jars I can. It will be easier to lift and will hold much less water than the version which takes quart jars.

Granite Ware Corn Pot, Green, 11.5-Qt

This is the perfect size for my use. Dimensions as listed are correct. The convenient rack holds 7 pints or half-pints. The pan is not unwieldy or heavy. It fits nicely over one burner on my stove (see attached photo). It arrived when expected, and in fine shape. Thanks!

Blue/black canner

My 9 yr old granddaughter decided that she wanted to learn how to make pickles. My old canning equipment had seen better days so I replaced it with the Granite-Ware and am really glad that I did. The size of the canner makes for easy storage. Instructions are easy to follow especially for neophytes. The finished product looks great. Aren't quite ready yet for consumption     Max

terrific buy

This mini canner is the perfect size for Jam/Jellies or any canning that requires the smaller sized jars. It also frees up space on your stove for the much needed other pans associated with the canning process.

Mini canner perfect size

Our last canner had the bottom burned out of it.  The new one has passed its first use with flying colors (marmalade!).  Truth to tell, it's hard to know how to praise a canner.  This was a good price and it's a perfectly fine pot.

Can it, already!

This canner is too small to hold quart-sized jars as its title implies.  It will hold 7 pint-sized jars but it is not deep enough to place quarts in and fill with water over top of the jars.  If all you want to use is pints, then it does the trick.  Too bad for me that I gave away my big canner when we moved.

Canner NOT for Quarts!

It is a nice pot unfortunately when I canned 4 qt jars of stewed tomatoes the pan was not tall enough to cover the tops of the jars as the recipe indicated. I made it work but was afraid that I had ruined them. Also I found a taller pot same company, same size (12 qt) at Fred Meyer that sold for $31.99. Big price difference! I kept the pot since I had already used it but Walmart I thought you guys were supposed to be cheaper!

I would have loved to have tried this mini canner, but when I brought it home and opened the package, it was dented beyond use. I returned it to the store. But FYI, you get what you pay for. It was very cheap.
