I had one of these small covered roasters for over 40 years. A few weeks ago the bottom finally fell apart. I went online to Walmart and imagine my surprise; the exact item was there; ideally priced and with Walmart's free shipping feature. Within a couple of days it arrived and I am enjoying using my new roaster almost every evening to cook supper. Thank you Walmart! Once again you have proven you have just about every thing I need!

Just what I was looking for

These roasting pans are hard to find and I am so glad you have them. Roasts  do not taste the same if cooked in other pans. I love these granite enamel roasters. They clean up well.

Roasts taste much better in the granite ware pans.

I was disappointed in the packing of the the item and when it came in the tape on the box  was partially open and the item had some scratches and damages  on it

Dissatisfied & Disappointed

Exactly what I needed & expected. Super fast delivery & great price. Was a replacement for my old one which started to rust, probably from putting in the dishwasher.

Great Medium Size Roaster

Excellent pot

Cons: Fortunately, I checked this roaster over before I bought it, and the first 2 on the shelf had flaws. One had a handle not smoothly sealed to the body, (future rust opportunity), and the next had a sharp burr in the handle for the lid, which would likely pierce a finger when grasped normally. The roaster does not come with a rack, (not neccessary for many roasts), and it may be difficult to find one that fits well. If you care where it's made, the on-line description says made in USA, while the actual product label it says made in Mexico (same SKU). 
Pros: the lids fit on all 3 that I checked, and there were no chips in the enamel. Size is good for a family roast with room for veggies. I can turn it sideways in my conventional oven to add another dish, and still close the oven door. I have used a similar dark enamel roaster for decades, and prefer them for results - dark material for faster cooking and perfect browning , self-basting lid for moist and flavourful result, light weight for ease of handling. Durable, dishwasher-safe, inexpensive.

Check closely before you buy

Excellent cookware. And fading I always say stick with the tried and true.  This is it .

Good quality

The chicken was tender and juicy, and our oven stayed clean, the main reason we purchased the roaster!
