I bought this about 3 months ago to hang by the door inside my cabin. We had a hard time getting the set up lights done right, though it shouldnt have been a difficult process, just the white light on the base doesn't work on ours. 
It's wonderful for when you first walk in to throw some light so you can see to take your things in and get other lights set up. It doesn't light for the 20 minutes at a time it claims, but 10-15 each pull. 
It says in the insert inside the box that you can run up to 4 lights (I believe) from one base, and it comes with 2, but I don't know where to buy extras.  It's a wonderful and easy contraption to throw a good bit of light while we're off grid. The higher you hang it, the wider the light. Very happy with my purchase
