[Employee of walmartcanada] In a blind test with 2 other branf i was extremely surprised with how good this coffee was. When i found out it was GV, i was in shock. Typically a retailers discount brand is cheap and worth the low price. This coffee blows my expectations out of the water. Thank you Walmart! Full disclosure: I am Walmart employee. Great Value Dark Roast Coffee

This is a really good dark roast, with lots of robust flavour.  It doesn't taste too acidic and every time I make a pot when I have friends over, they always comment on what a great cup of coffee it is.  I prefer a strong cup of coffee and this delivers it every time.

Highly Recommend

Certainly not the best tasting coffee out there, however for the price point it can't be beat. It's definitely milder than my regular brand of "Dark Roast Coffee". I like my coffee strong enough to wake the dead. I usually put two level Tablespoons of coffee grounds per one mug of coffee, but with this brand I find myself pouring 2 ½ level Tablespoons per one mug of coffee.

The taste isn't anything to write home about, but it gets the job done. I think I may have found a new go-to coffee. If you're on a budget (who isn't these days?), I would recommend you give this a try!
