Quality

Value For Money

I was going on a boat trip and had a list of things to pick up. One was napkins. Looking at my choices, I decided to go with the most economical, and I was not disappointed.

Great value from Great Value

Caddle

The Great Value two ply dinner napkins is really of great value for its price. It is durable and not easily torn even if it gets wet.

Truly Great Value For Money

Those are cheaper then brand name napkins and come in a variety of sizes . With kids and messy eaters it's important to have a lot on hand and with them being cheaper it also helps with savings.

Does the job

I tried the Great Value dinner napkins for the first time recently. I found them to be really good quality and a reasonable price

These were our family favorite napkins, the quality was excellent. Typical of Walmart, the high quality is gone and the price went up. These napkins are no better than any other cheap paper napkin.

Not good

They look like they belong in a public washroom. They are dark, not folded properly, all the ends are crushed and non absorbent.

These are not dinner napkins…

These fall apart way too easily. Plus if you have them stacked together in any type of napkin holder and you go to get one, they stick together and you get a whole bunch and some fall on the floor. Anything that falls on the floor is now dirty and useless and a waste of money.

Won't buy again

We bought a package of these napkins a while back, and they were quite nice, as napkins go. However, the package that we received recently are next to useless. The two plies of paper are not the same size, and separate as soon as you unfold the napkin. When unfolded, only half of the napkin is embossed.
We'll use them for everyday, however I've already gone out and bought a package of another brand to use when company joins us.

Extreme variations in quality

I bought this hoping it would be equivalent to the No-Name 2 ply dinner napkins. Walmart is closer to home than No-Frills. The Great Value version is useless when wet - it disintegrates with any rubbing action (e.g. wiping down a table). The No-Name 2 ply dinner napkins can be used wet to wipe up and stay intact.
Great Value = no Value No-Name = high Value

Buy No-Name 2 ply dinner napkins instead

When I opened the package, I noticed a strong chemical smell on the napkins and their plastic wrapper. I discarded the wrapper and aired the napkins out, but after 27 days, they still have a bad smell. I won't use them as dinner napkins or for anything but wiping the floor.

Unpleasant smelling
