Truly a Great Value. About twice as much by weight than the famous brand, just as tasty and the cookies appear to be a bit bigger. They dunk well in coffee or tea softening up just a little bit but staying together. .

The actual cookies are a bit of a let down. It's as if they're just there to keep the sickeningly sweet creme in place. Possibly the brown one isn't really made with chocolate and is only dyed brown since it tastes essentially the same as the plain light one. That one isn't vanilla either. I just use the name because it's traditional. Both cookies taste very - tasteless. I don't mind a creme filling being sweet but this one is suspiciously unnatural in taste like a chemical super formula instead of a natural sugar and butter mixture.

Tried the vanilla-chocolate GV sandwich cookie.

I've been buying these cookies frequently and for a long time. I can not overstate how much I truly loved them until they were defiled by the mad scientists at Great Value. I bought a pack not one hour ago and I could tell right away that something was off. I hadn't yet put one to my teeth before I could plainly see the problem -- and my heart went pale. There was A LOT LESS SWEET CREME in the middle!! Skeptically, I took a bite, and as I had feared: dry as an attic, and sweet as the colour grey. But wait! Maybe it was a factory error, like when they accidentally flip the outer cookie layer inside out, which I find funny and enjoyable. This sadly was not the case. I ate another six of them before I was overwhelmed by helpless grief and cremeless tears. No sooner had they flooded my eyes and spirit than they had crystallized into a dry biscuit of anger. As I sit here on a Saturday afternoon -- I would have eaten half the pack by now! -- I am humble. I know that my lone voice is not likely to effect change against the will of a company merely trying to optimize its creme-to-profit ratio. But I have to try. I have to beg. Please. Please!! PLEASE!!! Bring the creme levels back to where they were. I understand that creme production might be costly. But let's not forget that your company was founded on the principle that before we are Value, we must be Great.
