Product quality can vary significantly between items.

The value of this Great Value brand is way better than the No Name brand at the same size. And though I do have an upright freezer in my tiny apartment, I crammed it into any nook-and-cranny to make it fit. 

And when I can't cram the big 1.7Kg bag to fit, I separate the big 1.7Kg bag into smaller meal sized Ziplock bags to easily fit into more spaces in my freezer. For two male adults, this big bag easily makes 6-8 servings. 

Taste-wise it tastes the same as any other brand of frozen broccoli but the real difference is the price.

The real difference is the price vs other brands.

Always taste great! I cook mine al dente (perfectly cooked, not over cooked, retains a deep green.) Taste perfect every time %26 retains more vitamins also, FYI! Over cooked loses its vitamin content, many people do not know this.   I prefer the floret broccoli always %26 am very happy it comes in a larger bag.  I buy it all the time. Its a known fact that frozen veggies %26 fruit retain a higher vitamin content than fresh does because they are FRESH FROZEN, right from the farmers field. 
(No! I do not work for them, lol, Just a very happy customer giving tips on a great product!)

Compared to even their own 750g package it's a great value. But comparing it to similar store brands the difference is night and day. It truly is a GREAT VALUE!!!

I don't see the difference between this and brand name products. You get a lot for a good price with no stems.

Cheaper than leading brands

Frozen Broccoli Florets don't fully replace having fresh broccoli but it's a handy item to keep in the freezer for an impromptu stir-fry meal. When you first open the plastic bag there's an unpleasant whiff similar to wet mown grass from all the chlorophyll I suppose. There seemed to be no harm in it however. It's difficult to avoid some florets turning out soggy because the larger pieces take longer to heat through than the smaller ones. It's a reasonably good value for money since they don't give you too much woody stem like other products. The pieces you see on the package image are what you actually find inside. Fair enough. If locally sourced the price should stay reasonable and I'd buy again.

GV Frozen Broccoli Florets, 1.75 Kg

This big bag of broccoli florets was a pleasant surprise find after being disappointed by the regular ones' quality. This is maybe my third purchase and apart from an odd (grassy?) odour when I first opened the second bag the actual pieces have been okay. It's not too many woody stems so it's great to add into stir fry dishes. Sadly though, the price has been raised and I haven't seen it go on sale in months. It used to be a Great Value!

GV Frozen Broccoli Florets (big bag)

Decent for the price, butthe  first brand I've come across tht has primarily broccoli stalks and not florets. Some of which are to fiberous to consume. Wouldn't be my first choice if they had more options

Just okay

Many of these broccoli pieces had brown/ black spots on them. Inedible. Opened bag after return window so now I don't get reimbursed. Very unfortunate.

Frozen great value broccoli- grows

Wish I'd read the reviews before buying this - like the other reviewer said, it's NOT the brand - broccoli should never be frozen. It's chewy and rubbery > terrible mouth feel! I normally steam my broccoli in 5 minutes and I've learned it's well worth the effort.
