Can be tender, but also inconsistent in texture.

Has a consistency that may not appeal to all users.

Can be mild and versatile, but also inconsistent.

Suitable for multiple recipe applications.

Has an unpleasant odor in various states.

The beef is in my fridge because i buy this product often. I especially like it for the individual tubes to put in my freezer for later use. However i dont like the waste of plastic so i do my part and reuse the bag for garbage and saves me money on buying garbage bags. Anyways, the beef fries up nicely and tastes great!

Wheres the beef?!

Caddle

Well, it is an amazing product this groundwave I preferred to everyone. I highly recommend this product and have appetite wow amazing wow wow wow amazing amazing wow wow amazing wow amazing amazing wow I love this product and highly recommend this product.

One of the best ground beef

I buy it because it's typically good value, even against weekly sales for lean ground beef. That said, the packaging and texture quality are not my ideal. It is so compact that the texture feels mushy right from raw. That said, it tastes perfectly fine. I use this specifically for meatballs, meatloaf, taco night, sloppy joes....ground beef purposes that are intended to by a bit mushy when cooking anyways and I've been happy with its function.

Good value, specific purposes

[Employee of walmartcanada] I didn't read the package very well. I was disappointed about the package size. I thought they were 1 pound packages but they are not they are 376g packages. I really don't like how everything is going up and the size of the package is getting smaller. You are supposed to be one of the cheaper stores around and you are not anymore. I also wish you would bring back your brand of food. Most of the food that I see there are brand names which are more expensive. For ppl who are on a fixed income it is hard to buy food or anything.

Prices need to go down.

The meat's flavour is good, but it's ground so fine the only thing you can use it for is meat sauce. It won't hold together for something like meatloaf, hamburgers or meatballs. However, if you are using it for a meaty red sauce over pasta, it's a very cost effective way of getting ground beef into your family's diet at a very reasonable cost.

Good for using in a meaty red sauce over pasta

Honestly the price is great, just be aware of the quality or lack there of. There are large hard arteries mixed up and tendons. But if you aint picky its fine for the price. They are hard piece you can't chew once cooked and when you spit it out you can see its a piece of an artery not a little vein. Maybe time to start buying local.

Get what you pay for.

[Employee of walmartcanada] It was white, looks like ground pork , I mad sure that it was beef I didn't get the wrong Item it just has a bright color, It smells really bad though

Bad meat

This has to be the worst ground beef i have ever had. id rather eat canned dog food. this ground beef has so many gross crunch bits in it and looks like a ile of steaming poop when you open it up. not sure how its even legal to sell this stuff. DO NOT BUY

id rather eat dog food

If i could give zero stars I would. what is this stuff??!!!
There is no way this is 100% beef....out of the tube it is a beige/grey colour. I have made meatballs with it and regardless of spices, binders etcetera that I added, the end result was a distinctively unpleasant meat taste. I want to say gamey but that isnt it. I have used a tube for beef enchiladas and again there is an unplesant aftertaste. i cannot imagine using this for burgers or meatloaf! Trying to save money I bought 5 packs of these; I am utterly disgusted with this 'ground beef' and plan on escalating my complaint to a higher level w Walmart.
Shame on you guys for taking my money and selling me this bizzare meat!!!!!

Im great believer in the Great Value products. But this so called Lean Ground Beef, is not lean ground. Absolutely no colour to it. Very pale, almost like pork chop colour.
No taste to it. i ended up mixing it into brown rice and gave to my dogs. They loved it.
