Quality

Texture is too fine, lacking characteristic steel cut feel.

This Steel Cut Oats is easy to make. I have a bowl each morning as part of my diet to help me start my busy day. I like to add a touch of cinnamon and a teaspoon of brown sugar.

To Start My Day

More satisfying to my tastes when I use JUST BOILING WATER OVER instead o cooking

excellent

So delicious and filling, makes for a great breakfast!

Great for brekkie!

Wonderful product, basically quick oats with the nutrient value of steel cut.

The point is that they're whole grain.

love this oatmeal, makes great healthy muffins

also great for old fashioned breakfast

As good as brand names

taste great

I usually eat these all winter, but lately I've been wanting them. I eat them with cranberries or blueberries and Greek yogurt. Yum

Steel Cut Oats: A Staple

Always a staple to create many flavors with.

The Any Flavored food.

I like the convenience of the short cooking times, but I prefer the texture of the regular steel cut oats. These are cut finer to shorten the cooking time, so the resulting oatmeal is a bit mushy. I compared the nutritional value to the regular steel cut oats and they were the same, so the texture is really the deciding point for me.

Good, but mushy

I cannot get over how horrible this product is. We have bought it in the past and had no complaints. When I opened the package all I saw was oats that must of been swept off the bottom of the bin. Steel cut oats that is almost next to powder. I made the oatmeal, taste is fine but the consistency is very bad, like mash. Like my oatmeal but will only use tis for hamburger filler...

Horrible oats

Great Value Quick Cook Steel Cut Oats 1 kg bag of 100% whole grain Canadian steel cut oats, quick-cooking 3-minute format with visible cut-grain texture and pale tan color on a front-facing package, high-fibre porridge suitable for meal prep and often used as a thickener in baking.
