Device comes together rapidly despite some unclear instructions.

Excellent device, easy to assemble and even though the assembly instructions were not always clear (safe/unsafe uses) it came together quickly. Does a fantastic job even on tall tough weeds. I would purchase again and I hope this company makes other garden tools.

At 78 years old and now experiencing stage 4 Parkinson symptoms,with overgrown weeds everywhere since I could no longer start my old gas 'Featherlight' Weed-eater any longer I was left with only the choice to get one that didn't require 'physical coordination' to start. This one fit the bill very well!

Easy to use and multi purpose

IIm really happy with my trimmer. It was very easy to put together and it did a wonderful job at trimming my lawn. I like the fact that the trimmer head swivels from horizontal to vertical. The only thing that surprised me is that I found it a little bit heavy. And IllThe only thing that surprises me is that I found it a little bit heavy. In all fairness I have not tried other trimmers. So I cannot compare the weight of it with other brands. I think the price was really good and all in all it will be fine for me.

Works for me

only 'likes' in this review.  No dislikes! Very easy to assemble.  plug into extension cord and the grass and weeds are literally being cut down to size!  Easy for me to control even with my imperfect 78 year old self. I would definitely recommend this Greenworks corded machine.

Five Stars from Bokay

Very impressive string trimmer. Easy to use and fairly light weight. No gas fumes or deafening noise.  Had some very tall patches of seasonal weeds that were no match for this machine.

I would buy this again if it ever broke down.

Works perfectly! Easy to assemble, light, and not too loud.  The 90 degree edger head did exactly what I needed with no complaints.  The auto string feeder worked pretty well and I highly recommend this edger/trimmer.

Works great and I had a great laugh as you have to open the box to get to the instruction manual. Look at the 1st 2 instructions in the attached photo

Works great and…

First use was very good.  Extra 1.5 amps made a difference, but real review should be written after a year of my infrequent use.  With 3 burnt out 4 amp trimmers going to a stronger model should increase lifetime usage.   The device is heavier, but not too difficult to handle.  The new, remodeled, plug is definitely an improvement.

The String advancement is a Defect on this I just got it and taking it back tomorrow. The String comes out way to much and only going a couple feet with it. You gotta keep stopping to take care of the problem or it will tangle.  Thats probably why they gave a extra Spool of string.

Don't buy this item - Burned out after three uses . Like most people , I only use this trimmer once in a while to clean up the edges in my yard . While using this trimmer for the SECOND time it started to smoke . the next time I went to use it it's not working at all.
