I have a little gas powered off brand chainsaw from Amazon with a 10 and 12 inch blade I wanted to try a battery powered when I have several 24 volt Greenworks tools and when I saw this for very reasonable price I purchased it have not got to use it yet but it is very nice quality and it seems like it will work very well.

I am a 75 year old woman, and it is light enough for me to work with it.  Also, I never did anything with a chain saw before it came, so was a bit nervous, but no reason was found to continue being fearful!!  It is just what I need to get rid of some of the small trees that have come up on our property!

I bought the 10" chain saw for my wife. She loves to garden and this is perfect for her to cut the larger trunks and branches on bushes and small trees in our yards. She in joy's that it is light weight, easy to use and works off a battery. It does the job!

Great little saw!

I am a 63 year old widow and I found the Greenworks Chainsaw to be very easy to start and handle. Just charge the battery and push a button..its that easy. And its light weight also so no heavy lifting.

Cordless Chainsaw

Did what I wanted it to.  Good price was able to take down a bunch of trees on one charge.  If you are looking for a hobby chainsaw this clicks every box.  It was easy to set up and go to work.  My 12 was able to use it.

Good chain saw

Greenworks cordless chain saw is a big help around the yard .
   it's light weight, strong and cuts thru 3-4 inch branches fast

So far, so good. 
I used it for the first time yesterday. I cut some branches off a tree in our front yard. It cut very good. The battery charged prior to using, just as they said it would. The oil seemed right.
It is the 10 inch blade, so it clearly won't go too big, but does what I bought it for.

So far - So good

If you are doing small pruning jobs then this would be ok. Don't realistically plan to use it for anything more difficult than that or cutting anything larger than a 2” diameter. It's definitely getting returned.
