Greenworks 40v 17” Lawnmower

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Great lawnmower for a quarter acer yard.
It has some trouble once the grass starts to get  tall and an extra charge is needed, but if I stay on top of it, it's no problem.

Great for my 1/4 acer yard.

I like the mower.  I didn't see any information that the mower was only the tool, so I had to order batteries and a charger separately which was probably more expensive in the long run!  I ordered batteries and waited for them to arrive.  I charged both of the batteries and I did most of my lawn with just one battery.  I changed to the second battery which only lasted a few minutes.   I tried the first battery again which had been on the charger for about an hour.   The fully charged light was on, but the battery only worked for a few minutes.  It turns out that neither of the batteries purchased will charge.  They have since been returned for a refund and I will purchase two more.  If the problem continues, I'll have to return the mower and charger and go with a gas model!

I like the size and the revamped handle is a welcomed change--it allows the operator the option to have your hands more to the side, not just the top of the handle.  This makes turning much easier.  This is the eleventh GW product I have purchased.

Good mower

I had two left from a previous machine that was 10 years old and finally died so I was able to get just the tool, as I had bought 2new batteries for the one that died shortly after buying the replacement batteries. Does the yard with half the power! So good.

Tool only an excellent option

i had to use the battery from my other greenWorks lawnmower. Trying to buy the battery and charger separately is too expensive ! This is a  sad way to treat customers greenWorks !!

No Battery included

mowed once. worked yet. went to moe the second time and it died on my 2 passes in. wont restart. battery not dead. did everything on the 19 different vidoes i watch and NOTHING helped. save your money.
