We recently moved out of an apartment and into a rental home with a medium-sized yard. I grew up using gas powered lawn mowers but was aware how far electric lawn mowers have come in recent years. The lawn mower showed up quickly after ordering and assembly was incredibly easy. Just a few things to connect and batteries to charge. A charge lasted me roughly an hour while recharge time was two hours. This was plenty of time to cut the grass and bag some leaves. The blade is able to handle most yard debris but I would recommend picking up bigger sticks before mowing just in case. In my opinion, the best part is starting it! Just push a button, pull the safety key, and you're in business. The noise is not bothersome and much quieter than a gas powered model. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this model for small to medium size yards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mower is everything it's advertised to be.  After becoming used to the controls (different than I was accustomed to) the mower is very easy to use.  So much quieter and easier to clean than a gas powered mower.dealing with Greenworks was very easy and the price was reasonable and less than a big box store.

First experience with electric mower

After testing this mower for several weeks, I was really surprised and pleased with how it preformed. Many things stuck out to me about this mower a few of them are. The first thing was how long the batteries lasted. I can use it all week mowing back yards, inside fences and decent sized front yards on one charge of the 4 batteries. Another thing that I loved about this mower is the rear wheel drive and how it doesn't get stuck and spin tires. If it gets in a hard place all I had to do was push down and it would come right out of it. Something else this mower has that is great is the extreme power. As I was using it, I took it to all kinds of grass and brush just to see what it would do and no matter what I threw at it the mower never quit bogged down or anything. Another great feature of the Greenworks mower is the one lever to adjust the entire Hight of the mower. I loved this because my old push mower had one for each wheel and most the time was uneven but no this one. This is a great feature to the mower in my opinion. Another thing that is nice about this model is that you can put all four batteries in the mower at one time and it will display on the handles the level of the different batteries when one dies it automatically switches to the next without stopping. This is so nice that you done have to stop go find a battery and start again because you have 3 more that last a long time you can just keep on going. Something else that stood out to me is the four batteries and two chargers that are included with the mower. This is great because for the price you get everything you need to operate the mower. The last great feature is the ability to mulch, bag or side discharge the grass all in one mower. With a quick change of a few parts, you can decide where you want the grass to go. This is great because I can do it all in one anytime. As a landscaper having a product that will hold up to the abuse is got power and has a lot of versality is a big factor and plus in business and this Greenworks 2x24 volt mower has it all. This is the best push mower by far that I have ever used. I give this mower a 5 out of 5 stars because it is an amazing product.

Amazing Product

This is the best purchase I have made for outdoor use. I have 700 sq. ft. of grass and live in Arizona. I have a beautiful lawn October to May. Then it goes dorment through the hot summer and I overseed in September. I had a heavy self-propelled reel cutting gas mower and was tired of having a gas can in my shed and as I age it got harder to use. So, I purchased this cordless beauty. Some of the reviews complained about the plastic wheels and other plastic components, but for this small mower it's not a problem. It arrived quickly, was easy to assemble and started the first push of the button. The catcher is small, but for my small yard it's perfect.

This Little Green Machine is Amazing

This lawnmower makes cutting grass easy. With how light it is, the self- propelled function was hardly needed. It is much quieter than gas and doesn't have the horrible fumes.

This lawn mower is totally awesome, I love it . It's perfect for my quarter to half acre lawn. Lots of power and the best is no gas and oil needed , green works all the way baby!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally awesome

Love the self propelled mower!! Makes mowing so easy for me.
I have a .25 property and batteries do not run out. Recently  installed Bermuda sod and just did the first mowing after 4 weeks. Yard looks great and cutting was very smooth. Did I mention I'm a 71 year old female?

Great mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mower cuts well and is easy to maneuver even without the self propel. Brand new 5Ah batteries last ~45 minutes without the self propel feature. I haven't tried out how long with self propel yet. If you have a large yard, maybe invest in additional batteries unless you just want a break while mowing.

The mower itself works very well. Nice broad cutting deck gets a nice even cut. Very quiet. However, I'm disappointed in the battery life. Batteries charged to maximum in the charging deck only show two of three bars when in the mower. Mowing time between all four batteries is also only at about half an hour - which gets me less than halfway through my yard.

The batteries don't last very long. I'd recommend buying if you have a tiny yard. I have to charge the batteries 4 times to get my yard done, and it's not even that big of a yard. Doesn't do well in softer grass areas, it just sinks in and ends up killing itself unless you put on a higher level, which makes your cut uneven. It also doesn't do so well with any type of hill/bumpy terrain. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver though
