80V Snow Blower, SUPER

My bride of 35 years easily uses this. Will admit I use the gas blower for the end of the driveway when it's a two foot bank from the plow. Absolutely recommend this.

Works as intended

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It is a great little machine, perfect for powdery snow even on a large driveway.  Will still do heavier snow, just not throw it as far. With a little effort as it is not self propelled it will go thru what the street plow leaves behind at the end of the driveway. The only thing we do not like is there is no separate on/off switch for the light. It seems to be a waste on battery power when it isn't required. Our last one worked for 10+ years. Hopefully this one will last as long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great - thin patches of snow are not thrown far but anything over 2inches up to 6 inches are handled well . The snow thrower has to be pushed(not self propelled). When the snow is heavy it means pushing back and forth often to get through the heavy stuff. All in all I am glad I purchased this with the 80 v battery

Not many changes from the first version visually except the cheaper directional control.  I bought the first one used and the board failed so I could no longer use the unit.   I hope this one lasts longer since it is factory new.

80V 20" Snow Blower

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Lots of power for a small snowblower but the plastic chute leaves something to be desired. If you have a small area to clean, and just want something a step up from a  power snow shovel/broom this could serve you well. I find myself wishing the chute had another small extension or could adjust down a bit further. At sharper angles the snow seems to come out of the sides of the chute a bit as well as the direction it is pointed in. Not a huge deal but just feels a bit flimsy.

Pretty good but not great

Two to four inches of snow.  The unit worked almost as well as the previous corded unit.  Adequate for our irregular snowfall that rarely exceeds six inches. Some issues with the discharge chute clogging and freezing were encountered.  If there were more regular occurrence of heavier (6"+) snowfall, this single-stage unit probably would not be the right fit for you.

FRST SNOW OF THE SEASON

Be careful.  This item is sold without a battery and charger.   It can not be returned to Walmart as it is from a third party seller.  I found out the hard way.
