I've only used this on a fairly light snow so far, but that was why I got it. I have a nice big gas snow blower for the big storms, but I bought this when I need more than a shovel and less than a behemoth. It worked great. It doesn't seem to have problems throwing the snow.

It is a little bit heavy, and the moveable handle really wont move up far enough to help much. I'm thinking of getting a trimmer harness or putting a shoulder strap of some kind on it to help out a little bit.

The only other thing I worry about is how long the plastic will last. The impeller hit a small piece of the sidewalk and wore down a bit. No big deal. After 1 use, it seems ok. There is a plastic plate/scraper on the bottom that seems built to wear out and be replaced. That isn't an issue, but I don't see the replacement part anywhere (or a replacement impeller).

Basically, this is a great little machine for the cost of 4+ snow shovels!

Throws snow extremely well and has a Lot of power!

Snow shovel

Haven't had a chance to use it yet in snow (got it a month ago) but I hope it's worth the wait. I think it will make my early morning winter chores go by a heck of a lot faster.  A little heavy, but if it eases the burden of shoveling on my back that's a good thing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its has little weight  but fresh snow very convenient to shovel I highly recommend this high power 80V snow shovel for pathway, stair and decent size driveways.

80V Powerful Snow Shovel-Makes my day easy to clean snow

Great product that feels sturdy and made with high quality materials. It isnt light but this is great because you dont have to push the blower down into the snow and it glides over snow very smoothly. It wont break through ice though. Its very easy to use. I am able to clean my approx 4-5 car driveway relatively quickly (approx 15-30min). The 1 thing i with it had was an attachment to redirect the snow so it shoots to the side and not straight ahead.

High quality product and easy to use!

This thing really moves snow.  Two days after it arrived, we got 11 inches of snow. The snow was heavy, and a bit crusty, because early snowfall was wet, and temperatures dropped to the teens.  The blower moved the snow without hesitation. A couple times I had to do two passes, but most of it worked with one. Hoping for another snow event before the end of the season. Did I mention I love snow.

Powerful

Very powerful.  I've only gotten to try it out once, on about an inch of slushy snow, but it got right after it.  Only wish is that it had side deflectors to keep the snow away from cars parked next to the sidewalk.  Guess it takes some technique to aim it better. And be careful when you hit a piece of ice, it will launch it.

Strong machine

I purchase the shovel early before the snow comes.  I haven't used the shovel yet but once I did I'll be happy to post a reveiw regarding shovel and how the tool is working.

This cordless snow shovel was a good idea but is very hard to use for this enchant person.  The power head is very heavy and when you add the battery, it gets even heavier.  Another problem is the way it throws snow.  The discharge is straight forward.  There needs to be some type of vein system to direct the snow of to the sides.  I don't think this unit is for older, weaker people.

Very inconvenient to use

Granted it was a heavy snow fall and I was trying to clear my second story deck with this. I'm 41 and in decent shape and I was trying to clear about 14" of snow off a 12'x24' deck. It was too much for me. I thought I was going to die from a heart attack.

I originally  tried using this for my walkway as my Ariens was to large, but this unit only shoot straight ahead instead of off to the side. Skip this purchase.
