We have had our Grohe kitchen faucet for many years.  The top of the spray pull-out has two soft rubber buttons that wear out so we have had to replace it every few years.  Perhaps that's a quality problem of Grohe's.  Replacing the faucet would cost over $600 so we're fine with just getting a new spray pull-out every few years.  Our original faucet was discontinued a few years ago so we were very happy to find that the replacement spray pull-out was still available and Walmart had easily the best price.  And delivery was free and super quick!

I wanted to replace the existing Grohe Pull Out Spray since the plastic switch cover developed a hole. I ordered and waited for the package to arrive. It was easy to disassemble the old product, and install the new one. I did screw up putting the check valve into the handle backwards but was able to retrieve it with some effort and install in correctly. The drawing should be made a little clearer as to how to install the filter (and a note about directional flow would have helped). It is working fine and matches the rest of the faucet perfectly.

Part replacement

Always best to go original replacement parts.  Very happy this discontinued faucet pull up handle was in stock

Like the original

kitchen faucet is now working as it should.  this universal replacement does require a nylon hose, whereas the original came with a metal hose.  the replacement nozzle has a slightly larger inner diameter, so the metal hose connector is loose inside and it leaks.  replacing with the nylon hose (custormer support provided) solved that issue.  retraction after pull-out still works with the long spring that was around the metal hose (instead of attaching the heavy weight provided with nylon hose)

I have had this pull-out single-handle kitchen faucet for twenty years and it's great. The spray head finally developed a leak that I could not fix and I replaced it with a new head - now it's once again great. Couldn't be happier and, after 20 years, it's still a top-notch modern high-end faucet, especially for  triple sink.

The spray function on this replacement 
unit only works while the spray button is held down. On the original unit, the spray function continued without being held down. That was a distinct advantage.

Pull out replacement spray

Received it in a timely manner and replaced the one we had.  Wished it was sent with o-ring to fit the pull out hose.  This came with the o-ring on the handle itself but not a new o-ring for hose.

Customer Service

Unfortunately, I was unable to install the spray. The instructions were not explicit, and I placed the insert in the wrong way.  Now I cannot get the insert out.  I hope to place a dowel with some glue in and remove the insert. Hopefully I can use the old units insert and replace the spray unit.
