Exactly what I needed

I decided to take a chance and order this extension online. Here is my review of the product.

Quality: Seems to be made of very durable, quality material. Both allen screws came with blue lock tite on them. Excellent touch. The texture on the extension is rough and seems to supply adequate grip.

Now for the bad part.

Nowhere on the page for this hammer extension does it say that this item is for a specific model of marlin lever action. It does not say that it is for a 30-30, .35 rem, 45-70, .357, etc. All that the description does say is that it is for a specific model.

However, nowhere does it say on the page what model it is for. The packaging that the extension is in had printed in the upper righthand corner, "for models made from 1957 to 1981". This is obviously true since i tried this on a 1986 marlin .35 rem and a 1952 Marlin 30-30. There is a lack of description or options to pick a specific model and this is either at the fault of Walmart.com or the maker of the product. The hammer on my .35 is too wide and the hammer of the 30-30 is too thick and wide. Apparently the hammers were smaller on the models made in these years.

As far as how the item holds up I cannot say. I was unable to use it on any of my lever guns.
