Battery Life

The tone has no effect on my dog - it is too gentle

The contact probes are much too short
and It rarely provides the desired stimulation.

batteries die within a day, impossible to train puppy when product drains batteries before you can even do anything with it, definitely would not reccommend, specially for how costly item is

I had high hopes for this device.  I have an unusually stubborn golden retriever.  Two issues I noticed...  I the first and most annoying thing is that even at close range...on a leash... I constantly have to reconnect the collar to the remote even just after setting it up...it loses connection.  I sync them together and 5 minutes later, the connection is gone even though I  I am right there with my dog.  The second issue I have is that even though it has a ton of levels, she never noticed anything but the absolute  maximum.  The couple times it did "zap" my dog on the maximum setting, she barely seemed to notice and it certainly did not correct the behavior.  She simply glanced around for a second and went right back to the undesired behavior.  I think it isn't very effective for dogs with longer hair or thicker coats...  I was very disappointed with the amount I spent and the poor quality.  It may be ok for a small dog with a thin coat or a hair like coat...but not for a larger dog...  :(

Collar and Remote are always out of sync

batteries last for barely 4 hrs. If you're waiting for your dog to engage in poor behaviour, so that you may correct him/her, it is very likely you won't be able to because the batteries die before you get a chance. And they're expensive to replace. NOT recommended.

I bought the item in early 2019 and it lasted me 3 months, it no longer works. At the price it is worth, it should be more durable!
