Plus its beautiful and not at all cheap

The one umbrella stand I had bought a couple years ago was basically a cheap composite that crumbled to pieces since I had bought it (and what a mess it was).
So I chose this one since it different material and decorative.
It's pretty heavy, so I know it will not topple over.
Took a couple try outs to get the right tool to tighten the nut on the underside of the base, but once that's set, the umbrella fits right into it. Very nice item. I believe it was on sale when I bought it too. I like it much better!

Good and heavy

This is a strong sturdy umbrella stand - it is the second one I have bought from Walmart - our umbrellas are the thatch style - each outdoor chair has its own umbrella in our front patio surrounded by lush green plants - its a paradise - umbrellas can bend so you can shade yourself from the sun and as the sun moves you just rotate the umbrella in its stand - you truly can enjoy your outdoors all year -

I wanted a cast iron stand because was concerned about reviews of other materials cracking and breaking.  Check.  Wanted it heavy enough to stand up to breezes but not so heavy that I couldn't get it on and off the deck for winter storage by myself.  It's 23 pounds.  I can handle that; I can't handle 50 pounds.  So, check.  Liked the styling with the open work and slightly raised profile so it didn't sitting totally flat on the deck.  Check.  Nice bronze finish.  Check.  Easy to put together.  Check.  The only slight problem is that the plastic ring that's supposed to fit a smaller diameter umbrella pole (1-3/8 inch) was too small.  Not a big deal.  You can still screw the pole securely into place without it.  All in all, no worries.  Fits the bill.

Just right

I'm impressed with this base. It is quite heavy to withstand wind gusts and was dead-sumple to assemble. It is nice looking and, for the money, is a great value.

It is lovely and makes a perfect addition to our patio, table & chairs.  The colour of our umbrella, makes a perfect match for our floral displays!  Love it! Love it! Love it!! Thanks Walmart.

Great!

I purchased two stands and both arrived on time.  In my opinion they look great and seem well built except the bolts sent with each unit were too short.   As an ex-engineer such a mistake really annoys me but the company quickly responded saying they would send replacements.  That was good.  Unfortunately only one replacement arrived and you guessed it, same too short of bolt.  The last thing I wanted to do was  to go to a hardware store for two bolts in the middle of a pandemic but I did and Ace had the correct size.  With proper parts these are great and I would recommend them but the company has to do a better job with quality control.
