Was easy to put together. Did have a younger person help some as I can no longer get down on the floor and my hands don't always work well. But was a snap. Very solid and sturdy.  Anyone who says it is to small for them DID NOT read the dimensions posted. It tells you the size, just take a tape measure or ruler and to figure it out. DUH  Had a small pressed wood corner desk that was falling apart. The side with the drawer and the bookcase are stand alone, so I just took my jigsaw and cut the middle of the desk out and now using both pieces with my new desk for my printer, modem, tower etc.. :)  Think outside the box folks. :)
