The material is like very light aluminum, it bends very easily. It's not easy to assemble, as the screws get stuck at some point and it will come apart if you try too hard.

Not what is claimed to be ,these chairs are NOT heavy  metal as the add claims !!! I never even took them from the store there was no heavy metal at all
