Handle's multi-piece design can be prone to breakage.

Can be sleek and lightweight, but also appears cheaply made to some users.

Has an intuitive interface that is accessible to users.

Works best with wet soil. I use it every few days after I water. It definitely has loosened up the top soil. Also added Gypsum to soften the soil.

It is a nice tool but not heavy enough to penetrate

Even though I give three stars, I would buy this again. I haven't been able to find anything else that performs this task for this price.
1. The instruction manual is terrible. It doesn't identify the parts and the assembly instructions have only a few, poorly hand-drawn illustrations. No text or visual information explains the sequence of bolts, washers, and nuts. Fortunately, since there are so few parts, most people should be able to get "close enough" for the device to function. It's poorly written—probably poorly written in Mandarin, not edited, then poorly translated to English, then not edited.
2. The instructions also don't explain how to use the device or get the best results from it. It's just trial and error for the user. For example, I found that I have to hold underneath the end of the handle, then push down in the middle with the other hand in order to get the spikes to push into the ground.
3. During the first use, the circular cap (wheel) on one end became disconnected from the transverse bars (the ones that have the spikes). I had to reseat those board carefully then pound the wheel back on securely. It seemed secure after that. One sentence in the instructions could have warned against this and explained how to fix or prevent this.

Good price, guesswork req'd, terrible instructions

It does what it's supposed to do but it is difficult to use.

Does not work well on dry soil. It lacks weight and found it difficult for the spikes to make a difference. Shipping updates from the vender was great.

I bought this thinking it would are a pretty well the lawn which are tiny spikes and work for about 10 minutes and no longer is rolling had to take it apart and we put it all together again and still does not roll properly don't waste your money going rent a machine you'll probably have better results then what I have right now either I get a refund or a goes in the garbage if there's no refund

Not worth the money

This aerator has very sharp spikes and was hard to assemble. The directions were poor.
We tried using it in our yard and it made little impressions in the ground.  It just rolled over the dirt.  We returned it weeks ago and have yet to receive a refund.

Not worth it!

This is trash. And is not worth a dime. 1. Putting it together wasn't hard, but keeping it together is. 2. Once you assume it's together, as you roll it the sides unscrew themselves. Which in turn caused me to lose the screw. It's not ready to roll. And I'd they do decide to keep selling this non effective tool, at least do it for a cheaper price.

Waste of MONEY!!

POOR QUALITY OVERALL!!! Does not roll well.  The post isn't stable and wobbles when pressure is applied while attempting to roll forward. Nuts and washers fell off 3x in 15 mins. I do not recommend and regret this purchase. I placed it by the street for trash pickup.
