May break or snap under pressure due to plastic material and design.

Can be sturdy, but also prone to flimsy parts.

My first one was the original version (H20 Mop) purchased more than 5 years ago. It lasted for almost 5 years before it finally died. But not entirely - it could still produce steam but the tiny screw which held the head one broke and no amount of glue or tape could fix it anymore. The original versions were never meant to be used as a handheld unit. But that never stopped me from using it on furniture. 

This new ProX model is meant to be used as a handheld model so it will be easier to move across furniture now. My only wish was that the garment cleaning cloths were of better size because if we're not using it lightly - any strong push in any direction will cause the garment cloth to come off the head.

It's my 2nd one and I am still happy!!!

I bought this item last month and I am very satisfied.

Super efficient

I bought this device and found it great to use. We have more bought products toxic to the environment or for our small pets.

Very convenient and easy to use.

I bought this last month & overall am satisfied with it. The only thing I don't like is the handle is all plastic. I am afraid it will snap when using it .I love the power it has both for floor cleaning & as a hand held unit. I was amazed at how well the hand haed cleans appliances.

Comes with several accessories. The only thing I find is that it leaves traces on the floor. By the way, the degree of steam is good.

Good product

This H2O mop is compact, easy to use, and the accessories make is very convenient. It does a great job on tile floors, and refreshes the carpets beautifully.

A great little mop

The nylon brushes are not so good on grease or baked on grime. The nylon brushes are pretty useless for that and only the brass wire cleaning heads which Walmart also does sell do grease and grime. 

I just tried it on the microwave and it did great on the doors, floor and wall... not so great on the interior top (ceiling) and I had to shake the machine a bit to make sure the brass nozzle inside the tank is always in water. Trying to mash the nylon brush heads into baked on grease made them pretty useless now... Oops. I'll go order the 6-piece brush set now.

Great for floors, and soft surfaces...

I bought this today and was impressed with the quality while putting it together.  Then I started to use it. The handle is incredibly flimsy, it almost feels as if any pressure would snap the plastic housing.  As you're pushing the steam mop around, you even lose a bit of control due to the weak handle.  They should have made the plastic housing longer or allow the metal to go down further.  I'm disappointed, I have a feeling  it will only be a matter of time and the plastic housing will give. Sadly, it's being returned tomorrow.  I'd rather spend a bit more and get a more durable product.

Seemed great until

I only used it once.  I returned it because of a broken part on the handle.

Not impressed by the quality of the product.  However, Walmart service is fine.

Save your money and get something that works. Had the h2o mop for 2 months and it stopped working. Contacted the company Thane and finally got through to someone who forwarded my complaint to some else and I received an email a 3 days later asking to descale it with vinegar and a whole list and it didn't not work despite our efforts. I called them and they said I had to pay for another replacement and I refused disputing the product was defective. Finally after 45 minutes of arguing with a disgruntled employee and being refused to speak with a manager they agreed to eat the cost of shipping and sent a new one. A week later, I received it and used it three times and again, this poor excuse of a steam mop is no longer working. Same issue. Not worth the time and money. I would give this a 0 out of 5 if it let me. 
note: this is the fourth broken/defective h20 mop product we've had and are no longer purchasing any product from thane.
Hoover to shark is by far better constructed and engineered and the companies are much better and backing up the produxt.
