Great investment. I have pine tree limbs hanging to low and on corner of house. I had No problem getting these cut myself and I'm 60.. Saved me a lot of money by doing it myself. By this reaching 8ft was great. Might be little awkward with weight on end, saw, at first.

This worked really well. I was very surprised that the 2ah battery worked as strong as it did. I got about a good 85 cuts out of it. These weren't 1 in limbs either, these were a solids 3 to 4 in limbs on a 40 yr old red birch tree. It was super easy to put together and came with a really nice carrying handle. I highly recommend this saw to anyone who is hesitant.

I purchased this item to trim some branches off a tree on our property. I started to use the product, and it was easy to use. It was able to cut the branches off with no problem and the was able to cut some bigger limbs off also. The pole saw was easy to handle the lightness of the pole saw made it better.

Awesome Pole Saw with a good price.

nice for the price. the battery it comes with is small and doesn't last long at all. the chain was also super loose right out of the box and needed tightened. but it did work for what we needed it to do so we're happy. we'll be nice for camping as well to help clear the tent area.

I'd recommend this for someone who casually wonders around their yard to do minimal maintenance. It's a pretty decent product for light pruning, but it is a budget saw, so don't expect more than that. The blade assembly is ok, but you'd probably want to adjust it out of the box for your specific preference. Overall a decent product.

but you have to get use to the head being heavy its very top heavey but has the motor at the top . wish they could figure out how to put the motor down like a gas one . but other than that it works really well

After a limb or two, you have to take it apart and set the chain up again. A rivet came out the first time I used it. You can't just attach the saw to the battery handle. The upside was that I got it on that discount.  Overall, it'll work, but you have to work on it to get it to work and stay together.

It'll work if you work on it.

It's too heavy for me and the battery won't charge.  The video shows a woman easily lifting it to trim a tree limb. I can only lift it about 4 feet. I have used it for lower trimming jobs with a battery from my string trimmer which is also Hart. I love all of my other Hart tools. I need to see if I can get the battery replaced.

Pole chainsaw

Good tool to have. Came in handy for some overdue projects. Tough little guy. Can cut through some thick limbs. Bought it on sale. Only negative thing I'll say is the battery that came with it did not work. Won't charge or anything. Contacted Hart and never heard anything back from them.

Good tool but battery was bad

Heavy and awkward to handle. It kicks back while cutting. Not very powerful, it struggled on Crepe Myrtle branches and they are relatively soft wood. Also it doesn't work unless you put all the extensions on and for most of my limb trimming I do not need the full extension. It does not come with chain oil. You can find better trimmers for the price. I'm returning it.
