It's a really affordable site light plus I already had the battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fourth 20V Hart product. We also use the drill, leaf blower, and chainsaw/pruner. Each of these products are great performers. The batteries charge pretty quickly and the 2Ah and 4Ah units provide plenty of power. Hart has become my go to for 20V tools and accessories.

Alright this light is awesome! So...in comparison to the Hart 20v Spotlight...there is no comparison. It's unfair, honestly. 

The Hart 20v site light is meant to be a floodlight. It's meant to light up a large (or small) area but it's not meant for distance. This light is great for a lot of applications. Could set it up to see at night while finishing a project outside. Or yard work. Could use it indoors for power outages or even if you are doing electrical and have the power turned off. It provides a nice even light. 

The Hart 20v spotlight which I've had for a while is just that. A spotlight. It's purpose is far distances. To illuminate as far away as possible. So it's brighter indeed but as you see, it lights up a less area because it's beam is focused to a point rather than spread out. 

The first image where the light is in a circle is the spotlight. Second image is the site light. As you see, it "appears" the site light is brighter because you can see more...however like I said the spotlight is intended for distance. It's brightest is at the focal point. 

The other benefit of the site light is it's stand. It allows you to set it up somewhere and it'll stay. Or if you're crafty, you could make a stand that it secures to so it sits higher up (until Hart gets with the times and makes some sort of tripod light). The spotlight can only sit facing level and it has to balance on the battery. 

(Yes...I know my backyard is a disaster. It's a shared back yard. I only mow and weed trim. I don't clean up after other people).

Amazing Light with No Comparison to Spotlight

It is ready when needed and can sit, tilt, or hang with the best useful during power loss or as a portable unit when extra light is needed in garage, driveway, or to light up a backyard event. It's dual power is its unique feature give it a duality that's absolutely invaluable. 

Included AC Cable can power it indefinitely or slide any Heart 20V battery to power it hours, days, or weeks using the same 20v batteries in your other HART tools.

I needed a light to help illuminate my back yard at night and this little thing is perfect! the LEDs are crazy bright and the ability to hook to a 2x4 is genius! it has three brightness settings in case you don't want to blind all your neighbors and the ability to use AC plug in is super nice. Highly Recommend!!

This light is incredible. It has plenty of brightness and love that it has 3 dimmer settings. The abIility to mount to a board or a nail increases the versatility nicely. Love the hybrid feature with battery vs power, I can take it with me to a job or keep it more permanently in my garage. Excellent product and I will likely be adding another of these to my tool collection.

Nothing Short of Impressed

You have been warned! Do not buy Hart tools or any other products from Techtronic Industries. They are made to fail in less than a year and be disposable. Customer service does not follow through on their warranty promises. Please save your money and buy from another brand!

Avoid Hart. Buy something else.
