Love this shampoo and conditioner. I have been using it for close to 10 years. I love the smell and it keeps my hair healthy and long. My hair is the longest it's ever been.

Love this product

walmart.com

I like this Shampoo. Ive been using it for a few months now. however, on my most recent purchase i noticed the words on the bottle were a different color; so, i decided to glance at the ingredients and see if those changed as well. and they DID. now, i dont know what any of it means because they are all scientific names and such, but i figured id help everyone out and list the differences here.

3rd ingredient:
OLD - cocamidopropyl betaine
NEW - cocamide MEA

4th ingredient:
OLD - cocamide MIPA
NEW - cocamidropropyl betaine

5th ingredient:
OLD - sodium chloride
NEW - glycerin

6th ingredient:
OLD - glycerin
NEW - sodium chloride

OLD - 2nd to last ingredient is isopropanolamine
NEW - doesnt have this ingredient at all

remember that the order in which ingredients are listed correlates with the amount of that ingredient in the product. so even though many of the ingredients are listed in both, they are in a different order so that means the formula changed.

ive only used the new formula shampoo once so far so cant really attest to the performance. if i notice a big difference from the original (that i love) i will update my review. i hope this was helpful.

Changed Ingredients

I really like this shampoo/conditioner set. It's cleaner than other conditioner (no sulfates or parabens) and still leaves my hair feeling smooth and silky. I've tried other clean products, but this is my favorite so far. And it's not crazy expensive! If you want to try a cleaner product that won't break the bank AND smells and feels nice - this product is all of those.

Love this Product. But could be delivered in a better packaged manner! All bottles loose in box. Shampoo was leaking all over my Cat Food and Canned Foods. Nice smell, but not happy with Product leaking! Next time keep Shampoo packaged in Plastic Bags or Seal lids better.

I have ordered this thru Walmart several times and normal price is around $5. Why was this item at least double or triple the normal price?

Oh I do love this brand. Smells AMAZING, is moisturizing and cleansing at the same time. The price point is outstanding and that's really what got me with them! I think I've found a new fave!

Hair And Skin Kindness = HASK

It is bigger and cheaper for a reason, this new Hydrate version doesn't have any of the natural ingredients the original had they removed them to save money, it's actually worser for your hair than the original which is a shame. They should give us a option between the brown original bottle and hydrate they need to be separated products

New but Not Improved

Beauty Brands, Inc

I finally found the coconut shampoo! As a user for many years, I'm really disappointed in the smell. It smells nothing like the original formula. I appreciate the larger bottle but the updated smell on the coconut and aragon oil shampoo is overwhelming. The Aragon oil shampoo smell actually gave me a headache. I'm not sure who's idea it was to change the smell but in my opinion it wasn't a good choice. I appreciate the larger bottle but sadly I won't be buying this again.

New bottle, doesn't smell the same

If you have healthy hair and a lot of it and it's not oily then don't buy this product it will dry out your hair and it start to fall out and break. Only buy this shampoo if you have super oily hair.

I've been using the old Hask shampoo with coconut oil as well as the conditioner for a while now, purposefully, because they didn't contain methylisothiazolone (or derivatives) which for me, causes severe itching. Guess what has reared it's ugly head again? Yep it's in the new tweaked formula accompanying the new packaging. Additionally, the shampoo seems to strip the hair of all oils. Mythylisothiazolone is used in lots of products, from paints to lotions to shampoos mostly so the products stay fluid and don't grow bacteria,, in the industry it's called a preservative.. No thanks to putting it on my head.

Why change what was once a good thing?

HASK® Coconut Oil Nourishing Shampoo 355ml bottle with dark amber body and peach cap, featuring a turquoise label that highlights its repair and hydration benefits for dry, damaged hair, free of sulfates and parabens.
