Need to install the right software on your device? But this provides me with an HDMI in to my computer as easily as anything else I've ever used . I don't even stream out, but could if of I decided to.

Lappy became a portable TV with another device and I'm in for it.

Bought this for my friend so he could stream his Nintendo Switch on Discord using OBS. Works very well. We got it on sale when it was $5, but it's such a good product that I think it's worth full retail price as well.  Just be aware that if you buy a capture card, any capture card, there can be a lot of user error when setting it up if you're not familiar with this kind of technology.

Great capture card

I have no idea why people say that this is such a bad capture card but I am thoroughly enjoying it, and it does work with OBS stream labs and studio. I've tested it out on a cannons camera and it works amazing. I have not had any problems from what some of those bad reviews say. 7-10-2022

Amazing product

The HDMI to USB Video Capture Card makes capturing HDMI video sources with easy. There is no external power needed. Using the free OBS software for capture makes it super easy to record or capture. One note make sure you configure the “USB Digital Audio” source as by default I didn't have audio. This is great little product for home and general use.

Honestly shocked me how good it was for the price. Works well and easy setup also is 4K which is nice

This is exactly what I was needed. So far. I have used it everyday and the sound quality is great and haven't experienced any lagging issues. I've used this for my camera and gaming and both work with no issues

Durable, great quality

This thing is great. For one, it doesn't include software but recommends using OBS which is open source and works great. Also this device seems to ignore HDCP which is excellent. Highly recommended.

Worth its weight in gold

Took a little bit to set up, but the video stream quality was good and allowed me to view my PS5 on my laptop. The main downside I encountered is that the connection between the USB-C to old USB port on the block is loose, so any movement causes the connection to cut out. If you keep everything stable then it works as advertised.
