Instructions

I am a very big guy and needed a sturdy chair that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. This chair is it, very sturdy. I can tell it will last and it is also comfortable. Worth the extra money over a regular chair.

As advertised, this chair can handle the load;.  Very strudy, even with my rather rotund character.  The only issue I ran into was with the assembly of the side arm supports.  The instructions do not distinguish between left and right sides.  There is a subtle shape difference, and I had to guess which side based on how the elbow rests on the curved surfaces.  Well -- I guessed right babies!  The supports are like hand in glove, that's what I'm talkin about.  Yeah.

Replaced another Big & Tall chair that was larger, but no where near a comfortable. The Hercules is definitely the more supportive and comfortable chair. (I am 6'5" and 345 lbs and this is the fist chair I've had in 20 years that fits and is comfortable for hours of work.)

Big and Tall Chair

I recently purchased 4 of these chairs for the taller and bigger guys in our office. Once one guy got this chair, the other 3 specifically requested this one as well. It's easy to assemble (the screws and washers aren't packed very well so you may have to search your box), adjustable back, arms, and height. They all love it! Very sturdy and built for long lasting. Weighs about 50 lbs so be prepared when it delivers if you have to carry it up any stairs. It's an amazing value compared to other chairs on the market and I am currently planning on purchasing another soon!

All Around Awesome

I am extremely pleased with this chair. I work from home and spend 10 hours a day sitting in it. The arm rests come up very high, the adjustable lumbar support has my back in heaven, and the mesh back is helping keep me cool. The seat is firm and supportive.
The frame of the chair is all metal which is great, though does make for a heavy chair. I recommend the use of a chair mat if being used on carpet.
The directions were very vague. There are a ton of screws. I'd recommend wither a power screwdriver, or, at the least, a ratcheting one. Screws are greasy.

Perfect chair at the perfect price

I bought this as a gift for my fiance and he loves it. The arms are very easily adjustable and do not confine his thighs (he likes to sit one-legged Indian style). The construction is sturdy and the metal base is a much more attractive option over the plastic varieties. mixed feelings about this chair:
1) it came in a HUGE box
2) it came with an Allyn wrench, but one also needs a Phillips head screwdriver to put this together....
3) most of directions were visual....for the most part good, but some errors/lack of info. one must STUDY the diagrams
4) putting on arms is optional
5) the seat is firm but comfortable
6) nice metal base
7) if I had this to do again, I would have gone to more stores to compare/check out chairs

I bought this chair for it's "big/tall" aspect.  While it is sturdy, the seat is not that comfortable and the arm rests are terrible.  You have to be careful when pulling your feet in because the legs have sharp edges that can cut your ankle/achilles.

I see it has the option of arms or no arms but seeing as mine didn't even ship with the arms at all that doesnt matter and all the bolts and washers were lose in the box.  This from a $200 chair.

Missing parts not worth $200 AVOID!!
