JunkBots Are So Coooool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea of all the pieces in the trash bin. The kids got a kick out of it and enjoyed taking the trash out and making a toy out of it. It kept them entertained for a while and now they want to collect more. My 9 yr old helped his little sister building it and they both had fun. I will be getting more for them.

My granddaughter is 10 and she loves these it's like a surprise project when she gets these.

The kids between 8 and 9 love these, but they aren't really worth what we pay for them, So, I give it 4 stars, but they were excited to get these!

this is TINY toy!  I expected a shoe size box to arrive and all that came was a teeny tiny TINY box.  hoping my son won't be too disappointed in Christmas morning.

While got this for grandson, this has only one bot in it.  Small box.  I will never by this crap again.  The box is really small.

It's a gyp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a lot smaller than I expected. Originally, it was really interesting. My seven year old was excited to put it together. 

I have a strapping seven year old. He's strong and loves putting things together and taking things apart. I though this would be perfect for him. 

The first thing I noticed was it looked fun. The second thing I noticed was some of filler pieces weren't put together correctly. I know they were supposed to be "garbage" but the milk carton was more like a milk rectangle because it wasn't assembled correctly. The diaper box wasn't assembled at all, just unfolded. 

The directions were simple. I looked like it was similar to putting together a Kinder Joy toy. But it wasn't. 

Within a minute, my seven year old was asking me for help. He couldn't get the ball to go in the joint. He couldn't get the "knife" in the head for the horns. 

When I looked closer at the seams, they were not lined up correctly. I used my pocket knife to attempt to realign the plastic so the pieces could fit. Then I realized something else didn't line up. 

The ball and joint pieces would either not fit because they weren't the right size or they would fall out because the pieces didn't line up. 

I checked the directions to make sure we were doing it correctly. I'm chalking this up to poor quality control. 

We were never able to finish putting together the toy; it ended up in our garbage can. BUT he kept the trash can and it has other treasures in it now.

This ended up in MY garbage can.
