I bought a newer tech tv that has no tuner. Figured out i was screwed to watch regular antenna tv. This box has input for the antenna and output hdmi. Only thing that sucks is that it has a seperate remote and now i have 2 remotes. One for tv and one for this box.

I have TV again! This converter box is new to me, but it was exactly what I needed, and it works fine.

No problems

I also own the 150STB for my RV, and two rooms in my house. I needed to buy a remote that my dog chewed up but bought the improved 130STB unit.  It was easy to setup and with the Walmart antenna that was rated for a 100 mile reach it really brought those over the air stations to a crisp digital reception. Far less dropped signals than I had before.

Upgrade to this slimmer and more efficient unit.

this is the one to get for OTA (over the air) cheap cord cutting! works great! im in a metro area (san diego) and it picks up 47 channels with a $30 flat antenna! just add just nettflix or hulu and u are set for $10 a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I use a projector and an A/V receiver for viewing. This converter allows me to feed local digital broadcasting through my system. The audio and video (1080 HD) quality is excellent! The only issue I find is the response of the remote signal could be improved. You have to make sure you are aiming it dead on the box,  if it were not for that issue I would have given this 5 stars.

This is a great affordable option for recording shows via antenna TV. You have to also purchase an extra external hard drive for storage, but even with that, the total combined cost for the two was only around $65. The only negative thing is the instructions that are included. But, with a quick Google search I found a detailed YouTube video that perfectly explained set up and operation.

Great for recording with antenna TV

This converter is perfect for an RV or seasonal trailer. Ususally able to pick up lenough local stations to get local weather, news and your basic TV stations, NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox. We, also, receive one cartoon and movie station. While bad weather can cause so reception problem it is no different than when we are using our satellite dish. The converter box size is, also, a plus for small spaces. The one disadvantage is that you have to purchase an antenna separately.

Works for what we were looking for.

Something so small has a large production , very easy set up and a beautiful picture and don't forget to purchase a antenna you will need it, seems that the rabbit ear has a better reception , more channels .

Awesome craftsmanship

I had the Ematic AT103B and it has served me well for a couple of years. It just went dead the other day and I bought this one. I got it today and it will go back Monday morning. No indicator as to what Channel you're on like the Ematic. It receives the lower stations not too well, and the quality of signal is not so good. Leaves much to be desired.

There are  better.

THE ITEM'S OK BUT THE DELIVERY WAS TERRIBLE, PROMISED ON THE 10TH, THEN THE `12TH, THEN THE 14TH, THEN THE 15TH...PROMISES, PROMISES...
