Great thermostat for the price

Thermostat replaced my LUX TX500 perfectly. Installation was easy and took very little time and effort.

Replacement for LUX TX500

Using this for 2 years on my main heating zone and like it. I have it set for different temps for weekdays vs weekends (5-2), and a couple degrees cooler at night. It has learned to bring the boiler on about a half hour before returning to my higher morning temp. When we go away for a longer period like a vacation, it's easy to set it to hold a lower permanent temp.

This thermostat was put into a place I'm renting a few years ago.  I thought the guy who installed it didn't know how to set it up, boy was I wrong, for almost 3 yrs now this thermostat has done whatever it wants to do.  I have scheduled it the correct way & reset it the correct way, I've had other people do it as well & couple hours later it goes from a comfortable 74 degrees to 79-80 in FL sweltering heat.  Nothing like sweating to death while you're sleeping & wake up the next day for work exhausted because you can't sleep.  I'd love to take hammer to it.

Not worth one star

This thermostat is not accurate. We have it set to 70, but it shows that the room is 73. A thermometer confirms that the interior temperature is actually 67. However, because the thermostat believes it is 3 degrees hotter than it is set for, the AC continues to run. I have to get this out of my house before it causes my electric bill to skyrocket. It's coming down and going back.

Highly Disappointed

It came with the new furnace and AC and it worked "ok" when the AC was on this summer, but now that we need heat, the stupid thing cycles the heat on for a couple minutes and that's all I get... I need it to go up 3 degrees, but nope... Not even a degree and it turns the furnace off.  It still shows that the heat is on, but it's turned the furnace off.  Only way I've been able to get to the furnace to come on again is cycle the power to the furnace.  I'll be replacing this piece of junk tomorrow with a unit that ACTUALLY works.  Hope the kids don't get too cold tonight.

Worst thermostat ever

It came with my new construction and I'm having a hard time understanding it. I was hoping this product could be controlled by an app, but maybe they installed an older version. I'll play around with it, but it's definitely not user friendly.

Hard to understand...

This thermostat came in our new house. It worked fine for 3 days then did its own thing last night. The temp was set at 68 degrees. It started heating when we went to sleep and two hours later we woke up and it was 90 DEGREES. Keep in mind it was 20 degrees outside. Stay away from this product at all costs.

No control over heat.

I bought it as an upgrade and just find out it's a piece of trash, I had to replace with the old one in the middle of the night at low temperatures
