I bought my 10B back in 1990 yes I still have 19 year old calculator on third set of battery since new. I still haven't read the instruction but functions are very easy to guess and work. Back in non internet days, I would arm myself with this calculator heading into car dealership and I would come to near $10 diff in monthly payment. I still use it to calculate my amortization of my home, car, retirement, etc. Forget the review that was done days ago, this is from 19 years of using this model. It actually gotten much better than original model, so go figure.

This is a good calculator for financial planning. It is not hard to use and is a good buy for the money.

Good product for the price

This is an excellent financial calculator for any student or person that works in any financial position. The price can't be beat, especially for a HP product. I am very happy with this purchase!

Excellent product, Excellent price.

This calculator was a requirement for my accounting classes at school. It's a fine calculator, very different from the TI-83 series I had been using the past few years in math classes; and yes I know it's not a graphing calculator. I don't know how to use every function yet, but it does come with a manual and a little black pouch that helps protect it when in my backpack. It was great that Walmart had them online for less than other stores, and the shipping was really quick for only 97c. Highly recommended.

Just What I Needed

The financial calculator easily and quickly solves the problems I am doing. It is more convenient than a spread sheet as the equations are in the machine and do not have to be worked out, saving time and eliminating errors.

This finacial caculator is very easy to use. I push fewer buttons to get my answer than I do with my other Texas Instrument Financial Calculator. This is a good buy for your money!

Very easy to use

I had to buy a financial calculator for a finance class, and it was either the TI or this. This was less expensive and easier to use. The manual is really easy to understand which is a big plus!!

Easy to use!

I haven't learned all this functions yet but it seems like a very good calculator. The time value money function is great. It just takes some time to learn. But it has worked well for all my accounting classes so far.

Helpful

This calculator is difficult at first to understand how all the keys work. I was in the middle of a financing class and was having trouble trying to figure out the formulas on paper, and had searched so many different sites for an online financial calculator, that after I had purchased this HP 10bII, it made it much easier.

I bought this same calculator from Staples and it was twice the price. Fortunately I hadn't opened it and returned it to Staples and ordered this one online.

I have never used a financial calculator before so I can't compare it to any others. I bought this for a mortgage training class. You must read the instructions in order to use it, unless you have used something similar.

You may also need your glasses to read the writing on the bottom half of the keys.

Pros - Great price and functionality.
Cons - Small writing on keys, must read user's guide to understand how it operates.

Best Price - HP10b11 Calculator

The calculator did not function as designed. I had to take it back to the store for a refund.

It was either defective or used and defective
