I am always looking for a company who stands behind their products! When I find them they get a loyal and lifetime customer.  Not because if a product fails they WILL honor the warranty, but because I now trust the manufacturer and company.  That means when I make recommendations, future purchases etc - I know I am not just getting a great product, I am also getting excellent support in those rare cases something stops working.  

This is a model that many bigger brands have been walking away from.  (I am sure these get abused far to often by greedy dishonest people) needless to say, I almost threw away my +50 flashlight.  Instead I contacted their support expecting to hear nothing but crickets. Within 2 weeks I had a brand new replacement with no need to do anything but recycle the original product.  Amazing.  This is a great team to work with!

The HP7 has been a great flashlight. I use it to light paint objects in my night photography. Last month it stopped working and Coast sent me a replacement without any hassles. They also sent me a surprise gift as well!

Lighting up the night.

I love Coast products, i use them hunting and for teaching outdoor survival and Hunter Education classes. You need a reliable flashlight, and Coast has been a proven product. I have on numerous occasions in my classes talked about owning dependable gear in the field. You can't go wrong with Coast products.

Like all other Coast flashlights I've used at work, home and on the road, this unit is astoundingly superior to all other products, as is their customer service, the one and only time I've ever needed it. Superior Product, by far

This is the flashlight light to have in your pocket or sheath on your belt. HP7 is the all around perfect choice for almost all lighting needs. Palm sized and nicely balanced. If your going out into the darkness this light won't let you down. HP7 has lived up to all of my expectations.

Have several Coast flashlights, one of which developed flickering. Painlessly got replaced under warranty.

Top shelf company

Had this flashlight over five years and used it every day. The tail switch started going out contacted coast just wanting new switch. To my surprise the sent me a new flashlight. That is a warranty you can take to the bank.

Outstanding customer service

Excellent flash light. Easy push-pull zoom-wide focus, which is much better than the digital zoom that some flashlights use. Very nice gift box (I'm keeping this one).

Very satisfied

The coast HP7 is an incredible light that we use at the house but primarily camping. We belong to a large Trail Life troop and camp regularity and coast flashlight is an essential tool that over performs every time with a wide angle and well defined focused light options that allows us to walk a dark lit trail or set up a tent in the dark. We have two of them and highly recommend this light!

Best flashlight

It's a great flashlight, unfortunately, I'm only getting about 2 to 2-2/2 years of service, before they start having problems. Sure, they have a FREE Life Time warranty, but when you rely on your flashlight EVERY DAY, who has the time to wait for a replacement? I had to buy a second one, in order to have one available at all times.

Great Flashlight, BUT

Bought 3 of these and all three had their button electronics break. Coast was good enough to replace the first but my wife is too embarrassed to claim the next two because it looks improbable, so here I am with two broken flashlights!
