The lid was easier to open then some chlorine packages. The tablets are not wrapped in plastic. It can be very difficult to unwrap the tablets when you are 30 feets from the house with wet hands and no scissors. So I prefer the tablets not be wrapped like some companies do.

New Discovery!

This product is a good value for the money. I got 5lbs which is about 10 tablets, but alot of them are broken into pieces. Needs better packaging. I have to put a bunch of pieces into my dispenser.

Not sure why the container is so big, there are 9 tabs in it.

Packaging is deceiving

Received my shipment today. 5 lb. was $52.99.  I opened the container to find a few broken pieces, that no way was 5 lbs.  I put it on my bathroom scale, and even with the plastic container didn't even register 1 lb. Very unhappy first time customer of these 3" chlorine tabs.

Ripped off!  Received less than 1 lb. Not 5 lbs!!!

when opening up the container the tabs were broken up.and some is powder. as they have been tossed around ..

The 5 lb container for the Chlorine Tabs is much larger than needed so they bounce around and break up during shipment. But if it were the right size, you'd faint at what you just spent $45 on. The container also arrived with a big crack in the side so some of the pulverized tab powder spilled out into the shipping box.  I'm not sure how many tabs represents 5 lbs., but what I got was 5 WHOLE TABS and a bunch of junks and granules in the bottom of the bucket. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I had to go through this mess and estimate how many chunks would be a tab and use tiny zip locks to package ea 'tab' separately.  I ended up with a bunch of loose granules for the last tab. Those can't be put into a basket, so it will have to be treated like a "shock pack" and dilute in a bucket of water before dumping into the pool. Sure am glad I bought these online. NOT. I hope the pics upload.

Overpriced and Broken Up

the tablets were broken and/or crumbled. A lot of chlorine dust .. not usable

The image shows the Super HTH and they ship you the cheap stuff.  Buy your chlorine someplace other than Walmart.
