[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for camping lantern for my child and came across the Terra kids one. It's small handles are great the kids and so easy to use. When the lantern is closed it's off when it's up it's on and very bright and provides much needed illumination to what you need going to the bathroom, read a book or even for walking plus it's battery operated just unscrew the bottom part add your batteries and screw bottom back on. It's so lightweight for the kids and my child loves to just use in their room at night if we aren't camping.

Bright lantern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is being used for a 3 yr old and she loves it. We've found she can easily pull it up to the on position as well as back down to close itand shut it off. Its light weight and easy to carry with the built in handles.  It omits a good amount of light for late night blanket tents; extremely important! Now its very light material so We have yet to see how durable it is at this time though. So far we definitely love this lantern!

Great Children's Lantern

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gotta say, I assumed this kids camping light would be more like a toy than a functional product. It was packaged well and doesn't come with batteries, so you'll need 3 AA batteries on hand.

This is a pretty well built little light, solid and WOW is it ever bright. I had to keep telling my toddler not to look directly into the light. We have only used this around the house and not yet for camping, but this would totally fit with our camping supplies and I think it could sustain being tossed around by kids too.

It also very durable my son isn't super gentle with his toys and it's held up through everything a young child could imagine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this for my 7 year old son to try out.    It requires 3 AA batteries which are very easy to install.   No screwdriver needed as the bottom just screws off and on.  I immediately noticed that the lantern is very sturdy and seems like it will hold up to rough kid play well.  It is very easy for a kid to operate since you just pull the silver handles
 up to turn it on push it back down to turn 
it off.  This is definitely a good buy for a kids lantern.  The light is bright

She has a blast in her room with the lights off turning it on and off. Super easy for her to use and a great source of entertainment. :)

Such a cute little toddler gift!

It took me 30 minutes to get the bottom open where the batteries go in because the bottom was screwed on at an angle I couldn't get the top open where they can store stuff the plastic and threads must've been mismatched
