Great Microwave

I needed a 24" over the range microwave, and there were few on the market. After doing my due diligence, I chose this microwave, and am so happy that I did.  It fits my space perfectly, and looks beautiful in my kitchen.  Most importantly, it works like a charm.

Works like a charm

We love the Haier line of small appliances. This microwave fits perfectly above the Haier 24" range.
The only thing that you (Haier) need to improve is the lighting of the clock (the range has the same issue). Since these two products typically install together, there needs to be a way to turn off the clock. It could be set up so the clock can be darkened until the microwave door is opened. Then it returns to its normal lighting.

We selected this microwave because of its width - not many choices in a smaller size out there - and are delighted with this unit! PLUS it's made for above the stove, so the exhaust fan (2 speeds) and light (2 levels) are great for the cooktop. Love the cooking features - everything is easy to set. When food is done, beeper doesn't go on very long. How many of you have a beep that goes on until you get back to the door to press 'off'? Not here, a relief! The cooking space IS small inside, but perfect for 1 person. Recommend for a smaller kitchen.

Small But Mighty

This is an easy to use microwave.  I use it over an induction cooktop.  I needed the exhaust feature.  It is powerful  and has a "clean" front, no handle sticking out.  I use the kitchen timer constantly, easier to use than the ovens.  Both vent and light have high or low settings.  The defrost is unusual, you have to identify between four items then put in a weight.  How should I put in the weight of 1 slice of bread?  I like it, it is a good product.

Haier Microwave

Replacing a Microwave of the same model sad that it went but we enjoyed so much we wanted to replace with same model. I am concern that it only lasted 7 years. I have never had to replace a microwave but repair guy indicated that 4 parts needed to be replaced so it was better to just by a replacement

Enjoyed so much the first time I bought it again

This is a nice looking Microwave. The led time panel is crazy bright need ability to lower it or turning that off. The heat settings are off a bit. I use reheat dinner and need to watch it because it gets so hot I think it will burn it. The microwave is powerful compared to what we replaced but I do think
The settings are just too high to run without watching what you are cooking.

Good Functionality but Annoying Beep

Purchased in 2021. It was one of the only 24" options we could find. Near-daily use for the last 3 years. Over time, the cheap plastic has broken where the screws hold the face of the door on, and yesterday it came apart completely. 

Giving 2 stars because as a microwave, it functions well and has a large capacity. It works great as an appliance, and I love the light underneath. But for the door to only hold up for 3 years, I find unacceptable.
