We've purchased this model three times for consecutive homes!  It suits us (there are two of us) but you might be challenged with the capacity for a larger family.  It must be a popular item since the first one we purchased waz Probably about 8 years ago!  They have made some improvements, one of which is a light in the freezer. OUR favorite feature is the freezer is accessed by doors NOT a drawer.

I love this fridge. It's the second one I bought because I sold my home with the first one and bought the second one to replace what was here. It's the perfect size and layout for me. I like the freezer drawers so I can keep things organized. I know it's probably too small for a family but great for 1-2 people.

Perfect for me

We bought this refrigerator as to replace our second fridge in the garage.  It's perfect for its size and functions.  It looks very neat inside and out.

This fridge is great. I wished it came with an ice maker. I did buy an ice maker and installed it myself, with a little difficulty. Ice is GREAT. The freezer space is small compared to my last fridge. But it is adequate.

Excellent choice for our apartment. This is our second purchase of Haier fridge, which is not yet a widely-used brand, but it has proven itself to be competitive.

Solid choice for options and price!

I just received my refrigerator yesterday and in the process of letting it cool down to appropriate temperature before putting my food back in. A suggestion I have is making it that your digital temperature display tells you what the current temp inside your unit is while you wait and/or as a safety net if it changes to a temp other than what it is set for keeping your food safe. Like if it gets above 40 in the fridge for an extended time or if your freezer goes above the recommended 0 degrees. I am currently waiting 24 hrs before putting items in so hoping it is cooling as required/expected.

We love the dimensions. The fridge is stylish and has good shelf and drawer layout. For this, we would give it 4 star rating. 
The icemaker is another story. The fill cup from the correct GE part number simply doesn't fit. Our dealer serviceman did a “Maguire” modification to cut away the cup edge so the icemaker would fit at all in the freezer. 
The biggest frustration is the thickness of the stainless steel doors. When the delivery was made, the installers dented 3 of the 4 doors. The dealer made good and replaced them at no cost, however I was in the room when the serviceman replaced the doors and they we dented from the factory right out of the box. So they will be replaced again at no charge. For that, a negative 2 stars. Net score is 2 stars.

For the price, it's wild I have to buy a separate kit to make ice. Most of the door shelves split, splintered and straight up broke. 
Wonderful QR code inside the fridge led to leaving this review and to try and locate the ice maker and replacement parts only to find almost all are renamed, no longer available or replaced with a new/renamed part. Crappy navigation.

It keeps things cold that's it

My unit is 3 years old.  I scoured the internet for something stylish that would fit in my kitchen.  Fell in love with this unique fridge.  Unfortunately it needed a repair that was 50% of the total fridge cost (would not hold temperature and had to replace the evaporator fan).  Haier/GE won't stand by their products.  If you're looking to only have a working fridge for 1-2 years then go for it. But if you want something that will last, this isn't the fridge for you.

Great design, but not built to last

Arrived with no manual, only a quick guide.  Had it plugged in for over 24 hours and it is warmer than the air in my house.  I really regret purchasing this refrigerator, my only reason for chosing it to start with was the size.  Now I have to wait another week for a tech to look at it or another 3 weeks for an exchange.
