Our basement was really humid, but within two days this dehumidifier brought it down to comfort level! We had a Haier before for many years and just quit the end of last summer. Good quality!

My third Haier dehumidifier bought at WalMart.  the first one failed after two years,  the fan still ran but no water in the bucket.  the second one worked fine in its third year, then I need one for the upperstairs.  This one is a little thinner.  works the same reliable way.  Walmart delivered before its promised date.  great!

We got his dehumidifier within the last month, and thus far we have been quite pleased with the job that it does.  We are getting a good deal of moisture out of the basement and it is odor free.  It is doing what we had intended it to do effectively.

I'm happy with the performance of the dehumidifier but wished they had kept some of the features of their older units. New unit does not have an angle plug for the power cord, and there is no clips on the back of the unit to wrap the power cord. I've mailed a letter to notify them of these issues and requested feedback on is additional cleaning may be required periodically behind the filter to avoid buildup of residue as the older units recommended.

Mostly Happy but....

Our last one was also a Haier which was loud and started overflowing no matter what we did (it had some age on it). This one is running great, doing an even better job dehumidifying and is MUCH quieter!

Much quieter

Bought one of their mid level units and it stopped working after only 8-10 uses. Despite this, after 3 different calls Haier was only willing to offer me a $50 rebate on a brand new unit. Completely ridiculous.

Horrible product, horrible company

This is one of the quieter dehumidifiers that I have tried.  When hooked directly to a drain hose, the hose tends to "sweat" at the connector.  I put foam insulation around it and that stopped the issue.

So far, so good.

This has been a great unit to remove excessive moisture in our home, however it just lasted over a year and now it isn't working properly.  The manufacturer's warranty is only valid for one year so I am hoping it can be repaired!

My unit was put in operation a month ago and has been operating daily without problem. It runs quietly and collects a full bucket of water each day in my basement.
