Faux Cowhide Dreams

I was impressed by the photos of this rug and was hopeful it would look like an authentic (but still faux) hide. Unfortunately, it is very plush and doesn't look real. I bought it for under my dining table, but it would be better suited in a child's room.

Looks cheap

Cowhide Rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cowhide rug looks exactly as it does in the photo. It is very light weight, could be a throw or cover for the sofa. I have mine under the coffee table and it shows very well. A little disappointed in the weight, but like the look of it.

Nice looking, fabric light weight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rug is as described. Would be nice it they gave you the minimum measurements though of the more narrow part of the rug. It is soft. Definitely a faux rug, but it's more or less what was expected. Still looks good under my dining room table.

Good Purchase

We were definitely disappointed with this rug, especially after the other good reviews. However as soon as we opened it, we knew it had to be returned (and Im not one to return most things). It was extremely fake looking with almost like a shimmer that looked like glitter had been spilled on it. Very thin material too, was more like a sheet than a rug.

Very faux and overall poor quality - returned right after opening

Bad experience all the way around. The rug looks nothing like the photo and is nothing more than the look of a foam mat that you would put under your kitchen sink but super thin. It looked like a bad print job on a price of material. Super shiny too not what you would see on a cowhide.

Great rug but it just did not work for my room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little smaller than I thought, and the browns are much darker. The edges aren't finished nicely. It's more like fake fur than cowhide, but it's just an accent rug in a room not often used, so it's great for the price! My cat really, really likes it. It's his new favorite napping spot.

Great price

I thought i would give the reviews on here the benefit of the doubt but the rug just really isn't nice quality. It's extremely fake looking and fluffy that it looks cheap. I also ordered the 4x5 and It was TINY. I measured it and it barely was a 3x4 rug. So if you do decide to try this rug out, I suggest sizing up because the rugs are definitely not the size that they say they are.
