I'm a beginner to home pizza making. speaking with other seasoned users, I was informed the most difficult part was the turning of the pizzas. That is not that an issue with this oven with the rotating Stone. It is really simple to use. It takes some time and some tweaks to get a great pizza but not much. I would really appreciate it if Halo had more pizza and other recipe types available online to look at. Otherwise everything's been great.

My wife already made superb homemade sourdough pizza. Now that we got the Halo setup, it's been taken to another level which is impressive. You cannot get his quality, char, nor perfection in such a short amount of time let alone from a regular oven. Literally takes less than 5 min for a 16 to fully cook to perfection.

Pizza game elevated

Great product. Very even cooking and incredibly fast. Definitely use an infrared temperature gun. I found starting on high for 15 minutes and then reducing to low heat produces the perfect crust each time. Eat More Pizza

Versa 16 Celebration Applause

We are indeed lucky that there are so many choices these days for portable pizza ovens. The flip side is that it's difficult to research and make a decision. My daughter asked me which one I wanted for my 70th birthday present so I began the arduous task of finding just the right one for me. I went through the usual questions - size, wood-pellet-gas, temperature, portability, warranty, etc. First, don't go too small. 16" is perfect, and make sure the aperture is big enough to maneuver the launch. Second, I thought I might like the romance of a wood fire, but realized that paying attention to the pizza itself, as well as my guests, and a glass of wine, was enough without tending to a fire. Third, a rotating stone is a must, and having a second burner of radiant heat under the stone is essential. I had it down to 2 ovens. One had dual heating from gas, wood, or both used together (quite unique), and the other (a Halo Versa 16) had gas with the rotating stone and 2 burners. I decided the Halo was the easiest and most convenient to use - especially since virtually every oven review I read talked about the learning curve. The Halo Versa 16 essentially eliminates all the learning curves and bakes a beautiful pie EVERY TIME. Furthermore, the engineers synchronized and sized the burners so the ambient temp in the oven is about 900 degrees and the stone stays at a constant and reliable 750 - and it heats up FAST! Also, you don't have to move the pie around during the cooking process because the rotating stone does it for you. The customer contact (thank you Rachel) is very accessible, knowledgeable, and patient, AND there is a 5-year warranty. I am so happy with this oven (you can probably tell) that we sit and watch it like a movie. Actually it's imperative to watch because  a 12" pizza cooks in less than 3 minutes. If you love pizza like I do, this oven will fulfill your dreams...

I did 3 weeks of research...

The Verso is a solid oven.  With a 15 minute preheat on medium, then about 4 minutes from launch to pull out makes a great pizza.  We have also used it for focaccia, roast peppers, and even steaks that had been reverse seared on our pellet grill. It is ready to clean, very portable and a welcome addition to my outdoor kitchen. 

I have play tested the ooni, solo and Halo branded ovens, and the Halo Versa is the best of the crop.

Pizza and so much more with so little effort.

I have had the Versa 16 for 3 weeks now. It is incredible. Each weekend I have had family members over for a pizza party. I let them make their own pizzas. The oven adds to the ambiance.  They can watch it cook as it turns. Some prefer light and fluffy crust while others want a crispy crust. This oven lets you see what your getting as it turns. Because of the rotaating stone it  cooks consistent on all sides. The duel heating sources my sure the top and bottom are done at the same time.

Pizza your way.

This pizza oven is lightweight enough to move, yet not flimsey. We love that the top opens to make cleaning easier. It works well, and we haven't had a bad pizza yet. My only complaint is that the top and bottom burners are controlled together. I would like to have to ability to adjust the burners separately. Still, it is a great little pizza oven and works well for my family.

Great Pizza At Home

I wish to see an adjustable bottom heat and a higher upper flame to support neapolitan style pizza. Otherwise it's a great product. Makes great pizzas and steaks.

Good, not great.

Slow and temperature gauge is not accurate. Oven will never reach the 900F degree - it will cook a pizza in 4-5 minutes sure, you will need to warm it up for 30 minutes at least. Requested money back but they will not. I would definitely not recommend to anyone i know

Not as advertised - much cooler temperatures

I hated it. I sent it back. They said it would hold temps between 500 and 950 degrees. it would not it nwas set up for 990 degrees.
